In Bear River, Nova Scotia, there is a hillside homesteading farm that sits on the shores of the West Branch and overlooks the Head of The Tide. It’s a special place call Briden Farm. Here at Briden Farm we have Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Rabbits, Muscovy Ducks, and other Critters. All of whom benefit from our practice of Regenerative Farming Methods, Rotational Pastures, Mobile Housing, Deep Bedding, Upcycling and more, in our efforts to create a more self sustainable lifestyle for us and our animals. We say we give them the best life possible, for as long as possible. We feed them and in turn they feed us! Yes, we are meet eaters! We are not experts! We learn everyday… usually from our animals.
