...

I'm right.

...

that was

...

it's not a one

...

hey, everybody. And welcome to the first weird live on Fireside chat.

...

My name is Dan and I am weird. I see where there's a bad thing though.

...

weird just means you march the lead of a different drum that you don't

...

fit that mold and society wants to shove you into for my show, The power weird on

...

I'm always out there looking like for people like me, the weird the better and for weird live we're

...

taken it up and notch. Really excited to be here. My first guess is also my first guess I

...

ever had on the power we had show. His name is Greg Bennett. I'm real

...

say to have him here. Even old friends. Done lots of cool stuff.

...

and we're gonna be able to get a little bit into him as the show goes on.

...

and we're gonna, you know, also maybe have a couple other guests popping

...

duke some interesting talking and just kinda talking about

...

weird in the world. You know? We're bringing weird to Fireside, which means we're bring weird to the world.

...

And so we wanna dive into it completely. And like you know that being weird a badge of honor,

...

or glad you're here we're not everybody's gonna be able to walk out of here feeling a

...

a weirder and a little better. Great, man, How is it going, buddy? I'm so glad that you managed to

...

again on the platform this afternoon.

...

I'm I'm doing good. Can you hear me?

...

I can. I can hear you well.

...

Okay. We're good. Then I was... Yeah. Man. I'm doing

...

really well. I'm glad to be here.

...

dude. This is this is very, very cool. Like I said, this is our first weird live on Fireside. So

...

it's taken a little bit of getting used to, for example, I'm not wearing my glasses is

...

I normally wear when I record this because, you know, my light ring was reflective

...

like I was moving back and forth. And the light was that kind of stuff.

...

so we're learned as we go, but it's gonna be a good time. So for everybody out there great

...

of course, I know you fans the power of what you're know you, but tell everybody kinda

...

you are what you do, all the kind of neat stuff that you have going on. It's a long list.

...

Well, I guess, for starters, I I live in Market

...

road Tennessee, currently, I will turn forty one tomorrow

...

Yeah.

...

I work full time in suicide prevention.

...

I I'd train Crisis consultant, So I am

...

well

...

or eleven different crisis lines.

...

I also score or films

...

do the music for horror films.

...

I hunt encrypted

...

just been a week in West Virginia trying to find mark man.

...

you know, and have some upcoming

...

the plans for other monsters

...

While, doing that though, we also catfish fish

...

kind of art thing, catfish and encrypted,

...

So, yeah, man.

...

not like that is in, like, convincing hot guys or hot girls to, like,

...

know give you money and all that kind of stuff. We're talking about other like real catfish.

...

or, you know,

...

real big ugly flat head catfish. Yep.

...

Okay.

...

Very cool man. And you're also a train by out there who's

...

hosting people on like Youtube videos that, you know, you give them like a reuben

...

cube that's all messed up, and in five seconds or ten seconds we're remember it's solved. This is one of those guys too.

...

one minute. Alright. I I

...

Okay.

...

I can I can just get under a minute. I'm not in the four second.

...

category yet.

...

And fair enough.

...

my one nephew we've talked about the older one Andrew as a big who we're

...

Cube nine He can hit do them and eight times and himself like

...

ten, fifteen seconds, something like that. But of course, you've got all the big wonky ones

...

too. It's not like you just have two. You've got

...

Yeah.

...

you know, big crazy stop.

...

I I collected you any form of twist puzzle

...

I collect, and I've I've got a

...

most of them are solved, and then there's a bunch of unsolved ones I just try not to look at

...

because I'm mad at him

...

I understand that completely.

...

So, you know, one of the things that I always sound fascinating about you and for for looks

...

folks that don't know Greg was my mentor at the place that he works that currently that I

...

no longer matt, but we were called

...

then he also taught me a lot about kinda how, You know, everything worked this particular place and was very

...

always in and forever, we'll be very grateful for that.

...

But he's got a really interesting story. And one of the things that I talk about on my

...

show the power of weird and then we're gonna to talk about on weird live is

...

you know, people that you wouldn't expect do absolutely amazing things

...

overcome universities, they make it through these big life challenges. Right?

...

and you wasn't sailing home to see him and the the whole point behind showcasing

...

people who could just easily be like, the guy store,

...

male man or even the person in front of you in the grocery store line. Right?

...

is to showcase and and point out that everybody has potential to be exceptional.

...

And when people see you, first off, I mean, you're you're, you know,

...

Opal big long black hair, tat it up, all other kind stuff always more.

...

in a metal fancy shirt. First off, there never

...

so you would think of, like, if they're calling the suicide, crazy thought

...

Yeah.

...

line. You're not who they have in mind. I'm sure

...

But I mean, you've been through a lot of stuff though that's brought you to the point

...

you're at now where you're able to turn around and help other people.

...

Right.

...

Yeah. I mean, so I'm about the... I'm

...

Oh,

...

coming up on ten years with the the agency that I'm with

...

well

...

and ten years ago, when I started, I was sleeping in their parking lot.

...

Wow.

...

like,

...

living in my car, I was

...

probably only

...

Well, at that time, I think I was a little over a year sober.

...

Mhmm.

...

But, yeah, You know, drinking and drugs and suicidal thoughts

...

definitely a large part of my life.

...

Sure.

...

up until ten years ago,

...

you know? But it's a it's a gift in a

...

pleasure to be able to use

...

you know, the the negative time in my wife

...

been turned into something positive to help other people now.

...

No. It's a... You know, I know we talked about this on i have the

...

your episode of my podcast to that you were on, but

...

you know, we had the conversation at one point.

...

Yeah. There's a lot of misconceptions about mental health in the world

...

Right? And so one of which is people think, you know, oh, people are fake and they don't really think that

...

they don't really feel that way that kind of thing. And we were at

...

training and you kinda ran down for everybody what it was like in you're

...

screen to have a panic attack and where, you know, what where like, you were

...

i mean, you thought you were gonna die? Like, every time no matter how intelligent

...

you are and how prepared you are. Right? Like, that's still the reality of the

...

killing at the time Mean, can you tell people who were

...

listen like they Have never experienced that.

...

I mean, what's it like to go through something like that?

...

Well, the the the interesting thing about it and, you know, a large majority of the calls

...

the crisis line have to deal with anxiety and panic attacks.

...

for that exact reason.

...

anxiety, we know manifest itself in a lot of different ways.

...

And one thing we're amazing at is convincing ourselves that it's not anxiety.

...

Sure.

...

because

...

we have such a... We think we have such an understanding of what anxiety is.

...

Mhmm

...

Right? Like, oh, maybe my bills are late or, you know,

...

something's going on that's making me nervous or anxious, but that's not always the case.

...

I can have a panic attack when everything is sunshine and kittens

...

Right.

...

not a caring world. Everything's great.

...

you know, it's very managed now.

...

you know, I haven't had a panic attack here

...

do really well with it. But

...

you know, when they come on,

...

every single time even though I knew what it was,

...

Mhmm.

...

it so different Right? Like, in my head, I thought nope. No.

...

Also,

...

this is different. And

...

I have a close friend who also

...

you know, has had a lot of panic attack issues, and we'll call each other, and it's always the

...

Oh,

...

same conversation, Dude you know what this is? You've been through it. It's cool. It's like no. No. Okay.

...

is different.

...

Yeah.

...

and then now after a while, it just kinda of passes and you're like,

...

Oh, okay. Yeah. That's what that was, You know? So

...

in

...

They're not fun.

...

you know? But

...

Definitely.

...

you you can't answer from

...

man, it's just... Again, it's something that

...

just don't have any kind of clue out. You know? Like, people don't realize they've never been

...

if you've ever been there something like that, It's hard to identify. You know,

...

I I guess the message of that is for anybody listening like, you never really know what's going on and somebody

...

else's head. You know? And and one thing I will say, Hey Greg's depends

...

to this is one, heck on a smart guy, very intuitive, very emotionally intelligent.

...

And when somebody like that can, you know,

...

be kind of held to that kind of feeling and just no

...

know, like, you know that something is not what it is. It's, you know, that's something name it could happen to anybody realism

...

Yeah. You know, And one thing I don't think is

...

talked about enough and

...

recovery

...

Mhmm.

...

and I think people should be aware of is that you're not going to

...

Right.

...

party for years, to drink and do drugs

...

and

...

get away Scott free. Right? Like, there's consequences

...

to that.

...

and you know, I was told

...

when I quit drinking and finally started to see a doctor on a regular basis

...

that this is likely your consequence.

...

and

...

all those actions years ago,

...

turn.

...

and it

...

you know, might not be permanent. You know, I might get to the point where

...

Yeah. What

...

I don't you don't need to take Medicare. I don't care about taking the medication they're like, I did it.

...

Yeah Same way. Yeah.

...

I mean, dude, I

...

I have depleted my brain of certain chemical

...

There

...

willing

...

first

...

it.

...

you know, it works for me now though, and I can live a happy meaningful life. So

...

which is cool. I mean, you know, so many people focus on

...

you know, wanting their lives to be perfect. Right? And it is you know, perfect doesn't exist.

...

thumb

...

online for and you know, it's just

...

...you know, you just have to make it work for you.

...

like what are some of the ways that you do that? Man? I mean, again, I mean, I know you do lots cool

...

but, like, day to day, Hour that you kind of, you know, just make things

...

you know, good for you, Not necessarily perfect. Right? But like good for you. How do you do that?

...

Well, one thing I've started doing

...

Oh, yeah.

...

I mean, as you know, like, music is super important to me, and I'm a

...

super fanatic record collector.

...

So to,

...

Yeah. That

...

you know, I I just love talking about new bands and music and sharing that.

...

so I've started doing, like, a daily tick talk of just talking about, like, new records I get new

...

band

...

I've seen it's a lot of fun man cool.

...

Yeah. Try to keep it a little.

...

little fun. Until tech comes and, like,

...

tells me I

...

can't talk about bands anymore or something. They banned everyone

...

you don't person anywhere close to my age that has been able to make tick talk work for them. I'll tell you.

...

Dude... It's kind of addictive. I kinda like it, But

...

I think they

...

You know, for me, it's just surrounding myself with things that I enjoy

...

and doing those things. Let mean, i I play video games

...

yeah

...

you know, I read lot. I have favorite authors

...

you know, just things like that?

...

That's cool. And. Yeah. It. Oh I did as wanna as where.

...

you know, most people just in surface level. You know? It's one of things I always love the

...

you if you deep dive into everything, like, for example, I know you are very

...

selective about your shirt selection, especially when you're on camera.

...

what you got going on right there, man, What are you rocking today?

...

I'm rocking a band called a loading. It's a

...

solo project of a guy named Malcolm guitars for a band

...

from Nashville called in theory.

...

Okay.

...

he he's just one of the, like, most humble nicest funny

...

is dudes, and I just love supporting any anytime I can and

...

you know, helping and get the word out Because I mean,

...

just an insanely talented human being

...

Sorry.

...

who should be way more famous than someone like machine gun, Kelly.

...

Did you hear Seth Broken was on like

...

I don't know if somebody's show recently, and they they said

...

what do you think Machine gun Kelly trying to change his name back? And he's like,

...

If you ever managed... If I managed to get people call me a machine, gun wrote me, and I would never change it on

...

Yeah. That's a good point.

...

Yeah.

...

So... Hey anyway, I know I get what you're saying and I'm just throwing that out there just because

...

again, you know, somebody's got my much cool, then be able to do something with it.

...

So I've... I've got a couple of guys who are gonna be jumping in. I've got a special

...

segment, and I will fully admit to the the two guys that we're gonna pull up. What I'm not here yet. But one is

...

we that they... I lowered them here.

...

somewhat and false tempted because I've got a special segment that I wanna do with three you guys.

...

But also, like, I do wanna have them participate mark

...

first ever, you know, weird live too. So... So we're gonna get handed and pull up our first

...

person from the crowd who was one that I... Like I said, that I managed to get in

...

I'm gonna put him on here and invite into the stage.

...

And I am going to

...

let's see.

...

Let's see what I can do. Okay. So he is there, and I'm gonna

...

invite them the video mode and see if you can get on here. And first and foremost, again,

...

other person who I invited is i here yet.

...

Granted, he's a couple times on behind us. So you never know how that you know,

...

scheduling ended up being

...

There we go. And for everybody, ladies and gentlemen, let me enter

...

you should do a big friend of mine. I'm Greg. This is my friend. Uncle Ted Hampton.

...

said. This is great. And, of course, everybody else wants you have to go and man.

...

I'm good brother, which

...

nice to meet you, greg. I've heard someone about you so, nice to meet you close.

...

These are two of my favorite guys they're both friends of the show on the

...

power of weird. And, you know, doing an

...

all sorts of different stuff. So so the reason that I asked you guys to to be part of this segment here,

...

is I'm starting now on everything else that happens.

...

throughout the weird network from here to the end of December,

...

we're gonna be posting these special word things and I came up with and we're calling them the weird awards.

...

And so it's something special that we're given to to

...

to have done some some of the show whether it be in the back or the front end,

...

everything has a really significant value, and you guys

...

the you you plus another other person who hopefully we'll come on in a minute. You guys are the first three weird that we're gonna announce

...

for the year. So I'm very grateful to have you guys here.

...

I don't know if I'll get you real trophies, but I'll any are put up

...

Now I was sibling her around here and they're gonna go try to figure out how to share with everybody like a chat.

...

I would found that function.

...

Totally okay. I did However, Download i'm also on my ipad, so that's my

...

look a little weird I'm gonna show you.

...

So the first weird your award for twenty twenty one, is they

...

you didn't he real word, which goes to Greg Bennett there. I know my

...

light ring is reflecting, but it's the the the first weird of the year

...

the head hero award because, again,

...

if you run into Greg on the street. Right? You know, you might

...

go to the other side of the street depending on who you are. You might have seen this

...

coming from the biker bar of the road.

...

But in reality, not just as he get created, my those

...

cool cool thing, but he surely is a hidden hero like he talked about.

...

answering phone lines were folks for two suicide prevention. I mean, the

...

I I can say this without thousand to be making a lot

...

more than he does money wise, but he still knows what he does because he takes

...

care people and he makes a world a better place.

...

Don't bring it. I'm happy now.

...

Okay.

...

but anyway, showing again, However,

...

Same is. Yeah.

...

if the the the twenty twenty one weird award for

...

It's

...

Great

...

the hidden hero goes right then. So I'm very excited to have yo here to be able to show every

...

Okay.

...

and I realized this worst way to present an award, but, you know,

...

oh

...

it is what it is. We don't have enough people in the audience that say and the world goes to. So

...

I am completely honored. Thank you.

...

You are very welcome, my friend, and I'll see what I gonna do about

...

making encourage there's not for

...

for the weird awards, but everybody on something like that every cool. And then, of course,

...

for now,

...

give everybody little background uncle tags here, not actually my uncle.

...

I'm hanging anybody members Bobby world back in the day that hit

...

Tv show bobby world that was on. Like a like a kid show cartoon back when he had here.

...

we'll remember the uncle Character who was just

...

cool guy hanging out the background, always these a lot of fun, always was getting people in trouble.

...

you know, oh, it's doing stuff behind the parent's bag all that.

...

and he always was wearing his fingers as your Hawaiian Sure. Right?

...

And so uncle did always has his wine shirt on there for the minute that

...

talk to him he became uncle head instead of his ted. And you can see he's rock one right now.

...

if you go to the power weird dot com and click on merge. You will actually see we have

...

it's

...

a few uncle to so actually, for sale on there, which is very cool.

...

No.

...

not actually hawaiian

...

button down for Hawaiian which a lot of fun.

...

So for uncle Ted, when we're figuring out what work he might win

...

We decided here as the weird you academy me.

...

that the twenty twenty wine weird award, for the best signature look

...

was gonna go to uncle Ted.

...

So here.

...

but

...

Know it's kinda good no Hard to see

...

Yeah.

...

i apologize.

...

You.

...

that's fantastic then.

...

That it's one twenty one weird award

...

the best signature. Look goes the uncle very proud.

...

have to send a call megan to make sure she knows that his host on his podcast.

...

But, yeah. So, again, I wanted to be able to share that with you guys. It's a fun new thing

...

we're doing said who are you here slightly under false pretense. But, you know,

...

What's cool is, you know, we're getting on on this Fireside platform

...

or more early adopters who really excited to be here.

...

And one of the things that we're really wanting to bring out is the same thing that we're bringing to the world on the

...

how weird is, you know, it's okay to be weird. Everybody really is weird

...

and the take to really being yourself and being successful in the world.

...

you know, regardless of the that personal success

...

whatever the case may be. It's all about leaning and you're weird of being yourself. Right?

...

So the conversation that I wanna have today is kind of

...

with you guys, then, I'm again, if our other person shows up, we'll give him his award and let him

...

to you anybody in the audience and wants to jump and ask questions you're welcome to also.

...

But with you guys,

...

you're from different parts of country at least you do different things. You you

...

have different roles and different were things you feel like different. You thought different. You probably should

...

different. I'm not there to be able to tell kinda glad ahead top off

...

but

...

I'm hawaiian.

...

There you go. I can work with that.

...

So so

...

Irish brings

...

you.

...

you know, weird in the world. Right? Like, what is

...

for you guys, you know, what what you see and what you do

...

what what's the weird that you put up? You know, like, the weird in the world again, like, and where do you

...

it around you. Where do you see it as a strength where people doing things around give us some?

...

Let's talk about.

...

I think we've what Megan and I do,

...

I think listen to people's stories

...

and just getting involved in their day to day life.

...

and they opened up to us at a capacity that probably under other normal circumstances

...

Yeah. Yeah.

...

you would we just kinda cut through the chain to the chase, if you will.

...

and just accuse to their core who they really are.

...

and we just... We're so lucky fortunate that people feel

...

confident and comfortable with opening us up to us in that capacity.

...

So that's that's probably the weird

...

which is kinda cool you're like, gaping out the world.

...

Yep. That's probably the weird experience is doing this is people just

...

go straight to their heart, and they speak from their heart.

...

Great.

...

and you don't get that in day to day, you know, interactions for the most part, it's

...

Right.

...

facade, it's it's funniest. It's guarded that it's Kg,

...

and that those walls, they just come down and they just open up

...

to us, it can be funny. It give be horrific experiences

...

but it's amazing nonetheless.

...

Yeah. Well, you guys are kinda like

...

Yeah.

...

weird miners in a way. You're out there digging for the weird China phone.

...

Yeah. Exactly. Right.

...

Get, man.

...

What about you, Greg? What kind of. I mean, of course, you know, it's a

...

different layer or weird, But what kind of weird do you see in your world?

...

You know, for

...

for some reason, I could keep thinking about this, like online congress

...

station I had today about

...

someone had posted something on Facebook that that she wished she can

...

to take everyone's sat away.

...

Oh

...

And I said,

...

I said, well, don't be that because that's when I work the best.

...

Fair enough. Yeah.

...

has been a chad.

...

and

...

she was like, really, and I said, yeah. How many, like prolific

...

artist musicians or authors. Do you know that we're happy?

...

Right. That's true.

...

Right? Or you you think about it. There's a majority of them that

...

you know, did have depression or sad or battled their demons, things like that. And

...

you know, that's

...

one of the ways that music is so important to me because I don't listen to anything on the radio.

...

Right? I was new.

...

pretty obscure

...

music, you know, some darker music, Some of it

...

a little more like hearted, but

...

sir.

...

I think it's important

...

you know, to share that with people because of the relate reliability. They

...

that comes with our despite that.

...

Mhmm.

...

Like, so I know the first time I listen,

...

we'll just say,

...

More, for example, who is my

...

spirit animal. Now

...

And I only only put the Cdn to make fun of it

...

and ended up finding my like hero

...

But

...

Oops,

...

you know, it was the relatable reliability. Like, there was so much that he was talking about that I related

...

And I was like, how does this person like, know more about my emotions than I do?

...

And it, you know, it helped me

...

through a lot of really, really dark times, and I don't think

...

you find that

...

soul in a lot of radio music today.

...

Yeah.

...

You know, it's just kinda very watered down, and it's about how

...

Yeah

...

advance it is. But, you know, music to me has always been one of the best

...

coping skills.

...

So, you know, I just try to share that as much as possible no matter how weird it is,

...

you know,

...

I dig it, man. I know that makes a lot of sense.

...

have you ever had any kind any kind of media experience

...

like that ted, where you wonder, like, how somebody got in your head that way,

...

You know what some should ask

...

because let me I was gonna ask this question to Greg or actually just make a comment

...

I sympathize and empathize with some of what you went through because I've gone through some of what you have.

...

personally.

...

don't you think the reward is sweeter for people like us to have hit

...

bottom and then found a way to go below that and then bounce back

...

Oh, absolutely.

...

Right? Like, it's it's such a... There's... I can't think of a better gift

...

tend to be able to turn all the the negativity of my life into something positive.

...

Well, that's what I've experienced with starting this podcast. It's

...

I don't think that it would be

...

I don't think I could do the kind of work that we're doing.

...

had I not going through what I've been through? I... There's is just no way that I would have that

...

that insight to be able to relate to people from all lots of life and be able to really delve in their

...

and do the work that's needed. So again, I

...

I absolutely appreciate your story and I. I sympathize with it hundred percent

...

Yeah. Thank you as a

...

I've I'm also peer support specialist.

...

Man.

...

here in Tennessee. It's a certified program of someone with lived

...

experience can work in the mental health field or something. And, you know, basically,

...

use our experience strength and hope to help others

...

and

...

I feel, you know, we have a team of, like, almost thirty people on the crisis lines.

...

and I feel I have such a unfair advantage over them.

...

it

...

right

...

Right? Because they they're coming from a school background. They have their degree and they've learned about

...

this stuff in books. But, like, I don't ever encounter

...

the problems on the phone that they did with people.

...

Right? I I think a lot of that is like, just the related reliability

...

you know, having been there before,

...

when you walked in their shoes

...

it's it's so easy to just

...

Yeah.

...

spill up the advice and give them what they need,

...

and that's how we feel about doing our show. It's it's just easy when you've lived it. If you haven't,

...

Yeah

...

it is probably not gonna come across well. And so that I think like you, I've got the advantage

...

Yeah. Totally.

...

Again. For

...

frame by who's listening to Ted gun from a background with his

...

what he's talking about him and May Donald have this great

...

program called Pitch podcast, which is all about finding the next big thing and as far as

...

and creators and makers and that kind of stuff goes, you know, ted background is

...

he is the dream maker, the person that finds people and then connects

...

them with boat to put them on Netflix and feel

...

the movies and get their stories told into, you know, children's books and car

...

tunes and all this other different really really cool stuff. So

...

you know what said talking about is he seeks out people like I do the weirdest the better and the ones with a really great

...

story in order to be able to turn around to and tell their story to the wider world.

...

that's how he and I first met.

...

And it's it's just an absolutely amazing thing. And I've been trying

...

get the two of you guys together in one well virtual space. It least for a while.

...

because Greg's one of those people, that he's he's just enough out there like me man that people will wanna know what's

...

going on.

...

You know, so so again, you know,

...

Like, like I said, he is the hidden hero word the twenty twenty one

...

answering that again. But yeah. So as it's

...

again, just for information, say, for everybody out there listening so you know whatever one talking about

...

you're there too. This is so cool. Interactive media it's great.

...

Okay. So I'm making great black he knows I do if I get excited.

...

So we're gonna move into something else It's kinda cool. This is gonna be

...

for everybody. So what's gonna happen is we're gonna play low gain

...

the three of us are gonna be, you know, doing our thing, but everybody in the audience isn't

...

to be able to participate and make their own guesses there's an old school game with

...

twist july.

...

two weird truths in a weird live. So each one of us

...

actually gonna tell too true and a lie about our ourselves we think are kinda

...

crazy and things that nobody else would

...

do get or, you know, understand everybody out there again.

...

just jump in with the chat or if you wanna come on screen and and make some guesses with us

...

you can do that as well. Again, in interactive media is very cool. So we're gonna just do this real a quick game.

...

I'm bringing it on these guys they have come on with something, but I know what I'm gonna talk about. So

...

gonna go ahead and and jump on these here with mine. So, again, doing a weird two

...

truth and a weird lie. So my

...

first one that I'm gonna throw out there is that when I was a freshman in high school,

...

I was wearing a a marching tube for marching bands

...

the very first time and I tripped

...

And I turned a hundred and eighty degrees and flew about

...

ten feet and landed on the basketball court after that on my back.

...

as people were leaving the gym.

...

there also was a time when I was going on

...

school visit when I was in a hotel, and I got locked

...

out of my room in my underwear.

...

and, you know, getting ready like get the shower for beginning a day

...

I ended not getting a lot out in my room. I got locked out of my hallway.

...

i locked out of my building and was hiding, like,

...

in the stairway waiting for like my sister I'm working on the college trip and back

...

and this a very nice older

...

person who was like, one of the

...

a cleaning staff, you know, have housekeeping think

...

she bought my story because, you know, why also would there be a fat?

...

you know, white kid and on their underwear standing outside and the

...

you know, in the brings and let me back in.

...

And then the the other one is the My year in high school.

...

Me being as crazy you and ridiculous as ever.

...

kind of on that there kind of not backstage at my senior choir show after a show

...

by our last dress rehearsal. I flashed the entire show choir

...

as we were going off stage for our last rehearsal.

...

So, again, run those back down, trip and fail, and landed it on the best

...

popcorn court in a series phone, marching To

...

got stuck outside. Am my underwear.

...

and have to get let back in. By very nice on the senior Person.

...

who bought my story

...

I'm which was true. Or that I flash this show choir my senior year back

...

stage after our dress

...

So you guys can ask questions. That kind stuff we on

...

you guys let's say sixty seconds to ask questions anybody in the audience?

...

once ask questions go ahead, and then we'll let you guys guess.

...

what were you wearing when you flashed?

...

Well, nothing when I flashed.

...

wear prior

...

oh, just just my regular I, like, some cargo shorts on and there's a t shirt

...

Or color

...

I'll piece the heck out of me.

...

It was dark

...

I'm gonna say that

...

and

...

gonna say that much the line. I'm gonna say that into the line.

...

Then you're going for that one. Okay.

...

Yeah.

...

Alright.

...

that the first well and I think is true just because you said soon a phone

...

True. Okay. Chris. That's that is word.

...

And that's that's very specific.

...

Yeah.

...

Okay. Well.

...

Yeah.

...

Yeah. I think

...

the the second one I'm only... I'm gonna say I believe because I've done it myself.

...

Well

...

I don't

...

And so I gotta the third one. I think the third ones

...

Mhmm

...

not.

...

Okay. Anybody else have there, got any... I'm trying to figure out where to be able to

...

when you guys wanna say something, but

...

I guess I haven't figured that out yet or nobody They say anything. Either way, It's okay.

...

Alright. So

...

You

...

That music. Okay.

...

I've getting news to this great. I love it. Okay.

...

So first one is true.

...

one hundred percent true. People didn't know was me. Nobody knew out who I was. I was bringing

...

do at the school. People many years later, like, when we were seniors years were like,

...

remember when that guy filled that too gym. I'm like, yeah. That was me like,

...

So the second one, which was getting warmed out,

...

in Gainesville bill Florida when I went to this a Us is true.

...

That's definitely happened.

...

The last one while I did not slash the show choir, I did move the show quiet.

...

So,

...

technically, it was incorrect one, but just... There was still some truth there, but

...

very. Okay. I'm gonna impressed guys. That's good. Alright. So let's see.

...

greg eat death over there, which is if I remember correctly him in Instagram and

...

talk. And i let i great what you got two in a lot. Make them weird.

...

Alright. So first off,

...

and

...

I have a add of patent manning

...

The second one, I

...

am a award winning film composer,

...

And the third would be

...

I was a member of a touring band for two years.

...

Right

...

I'm gonna say the first one is fabricated.

...

the bait manning tattoo,

...

You know.

...

Yeah.

...

So you that's for me no and greg that I'm pretty sure is a hundred

...

sent true but I'm not

...

Yeah. I'm just trying to

...

says real quick. I'm looking at it and I'm thinking, No. I don't think that's true. But I think I

...

I could be wrong.

...

Interesting.

...

anybody out there in the crowd got any and any thoughts on this?

...

again,

...

Goes everything fits in.

...

Everything else

...

everything else sick.

...

that said him. I i'll agree with that. That's true.

...

Again, I I'm I'm still not a hundred percent sure how to call on people. So you're

...

Trying to

...

get us in, Like, let me know. Okay. So

...

I do know knowing Greg. I I know that one of those definitely is

...

true because, you know, he's my buddy and all and we've talked about it before.

...

that being said though, that I think that he I think

...

the third one was a lie. I think he does have the paint manning tattoo.

...

Look

...

Okay. Alright.

...

So should I give the answer now?

...

That's

...

Yeah. Yeah. We'll give us a

...

the the incorrect ones first, so we can, you know,

...

Alright. Well, ted, just so you know, a little bit about me. I am born and raised in

...

Indiana

...

And

...

I

...

Oh,

...

I i totally

...

Oh, that's no fear.

...

I totally bleed blue.

...

I am a die called fan and

...

fair enough, I have a big tattoo of paid manning

...

Yeah

...

Right. We're bringing that lumbar home finally.

...

This is why I never placed street games.

...

Yeah.

...

Yeah

...

Oh,

...

Good.

...

Yeah. I I did the the

...

sin city or festival, I won best

...

score for a film called Tennessee gothic.

...

That

...

I have never got

...

paying

...

I've never

...

anybody else was whether you've never lived in.

...

never get in the pay ever.

...

Yeah.

...

never too.

...

never I do all. I only... I work alone.

...

when it comes to music. So

...

I say I can see you tour learn with Pent Terror.

...

So that's what

...

Oh, yeah.

...

easily.

...

I went last very long with pan.

...

You be very

...

man be parent heavy Staff and keep the girls away.

...

It's

...

Yeah. You have to see away from those guys. Those guys know how to down

...

not they're not heavy enough for me though.

...

Oh, really.

...

Yeah.

...

get

...

That's

...

Fair out. Yeah. Yeah.

...

I speak great. Greg. Yeah.

...

Well many heavy is in style? Like, they're they're definitely... They're not hard enough

...

for him.

...

Yeah

...

Yeah.

...

Oh, i gotcha you. Got you. Okay. Great.

...

Right.

...

Yeah. We got we gotta be a little more brutal than pan. You know,

...

they used to have the big hair and everything and

...

You... I never really got into pension

...

I I mean, diamondback, they're. I mean, what can you say? The guy was phenomenal as far as guitar

...

I'm sure

...

Yeah.

...

I heard him radio rhoads tunes, which I was a huge fan of randy rose.

...

and and that guy is just note for no. And I was blown away by his his document.

...

Yeah. Yeah. You I mean... You know,

...

I'm not gonna deny his skill, but it it's that

...

yeah.

...

definitely wasn't for me.

...

Right

...

it's a... It's gotta be a lot darker, it's gotta be death medal for him to be able to

...

Oh, okay.

...

But

...

I get that

...

Yeah.

...

Alright. Say you're up, man. And it's

...

you say that you were a star on an early nineties children's cartoon, Everybody's didn't know that was true.

...

so

...

Yeah.

...

for sure. Let's see

...

How about that? I got fired from a cost center

...

for talking too much.

...

I could that

...

I.

...

Second one, let's see. How about

...

we have a tentative debt to do a live show at the house of blues.

...

in October the first.

...

Also blues memphis.

...

House blues in Las Vegas

...

Oh, even bigger. Okay.

...

or

...

that the only thing that I'm wearing right now

...

as Hawaiian shirt.

...

and

...

Yeah.

...

definitely the first one for last with it's fifty fifty man. I know.

...

It is

...

This is a hard one because

...

working at a call center. I've got talk to people all the time about

...

talking too much. So that's like

...

that's would

...

but I don't wanna picture for you just wearing a hawaiian share.

...

No sounds greg.

...

No you.

...

You know what? His girl crimes in middle Tennessee, and she probably likes

...

though So we'll let her know

...

Yeah. Yeah

...

Mhmm. And

...

Yeah.

...

Okay.

...

I'm I'm gonna go out of of limb and play the wildcard card

...

and say, the house of blues one isn't true.

...

Okay.

...

You know what?

...

we want the house blues one to be true because I'm gonna buy a plane ticket get and all that kind of stuff.

...

and might be featured because, you know, we're cool that

...

But I'm gonna say that you... I'm gonna say that's the lie also.

...

you

...

I want it to be true, but

...

Go ahead.

...

The house of blues is absolutely true.

...

I've been with

...

Okay.

...

I've been negotiating a deal, and we're having do some fun grazing, but, yeah, that's that's

...

true.

...

Nice.

...

Rather Ian brother, man. I love it. That's awesome man.

...

all

...

I'm I was gonna

...

No.

...

I was gonna kill you. I was gonna privately tell you whenever. But

...

Yeah. No. Cool.

...

This is a great time. I wasn't expecting saw choose well. Let's just do it now.

...

No. I want you. What's a great opportunity yeah.

...

I Right? We absolutely absolutely got fired from the color center.

...

for talking.

...

So the question

...

mom that they don't wanna ask. As well else are you wearing besides your wines.

...

I am we're in short

...

I am we're insurance,

...

Oh, man. I love it.

...

such

...

So great. What

...

when we throw this out there, Greg, and I live in the Nashville area, which

...

you know, was hovering for a lot round freezing right now. Thank you, everybody right clapping and take cool.

...

Oh,

...

So... Oh, yeah. Just in case you guys all know when you hear

...

clapping or laughing or whatever. That's because people are reacting.

...

through the app, which is very, very cool of something you need to fire

...

side is supposed to give more of an impression of, like, a real conversation.

...

there are live audience getting to participate. So that's

...

not just me doing sound effects anything like, that's actually people interact

...

is very cool. Thank you guys for that. It it is awesome. And

...

Wow. That's first of all, really good that you're wearing pants

...

we're grateful. But no. It's it it's getting cold here. Like, granted, it's

...

taught, you know, his all get out during the summer in has, but where heads that

...

I'm

...

he's out there with the... They called the dry. He... So he's not all right now.

...

Yeah.

...

I just

...

spent a week in Indiana. It is not cold here.

...

as well.

...

all things be rep right. Yeah.

...

Yeah. No it's I I I'm always warm

...

see, but when I go back to Indiana, it's like, oh, yeah. This is what Indiana is like.

...

Yeah.

...

why you left now. Don't you?

...

you know, it's it's weird when you tell people it's like

...

it's not that it's cold when you walk outside, it's that it hurts

...

Right.

...

like, it's

...

real.

...

instant pain. It's so cold. You know?

...

Now, Ted doesn't know about that. He was in

...

La and then Vegas before he got to where he's at now.

...

in the savings right now.

...

Yeah. So he

...

Yeah.

...

see, that would be a different kind of pain for me.

...

I would walk outside you'd like,

...

Yeah.

...

dude. I know, man.

...

Yes

...

but not to today would and Greg. Not today, you win a bro. It's beautiful.

...

Yeah

...

Alright.

...

see. That that's... Oh I like it. Alright. So if anybody out there again, and and I'm

...

i'm trying to figure this out about how this saw works, Please forgive me. This is our very first

...

weird live. I'm very excited to be here, Of course, and we're getting to go, you know, as we go here,

...

So trying to see

...

thirty nine degrees in Ohio they're telling is that's awesome.

...

Alright alright. Very cool. Oh, we got. So one of our folks from the crowd is gonna jump in and talk to us.

...

Lily, how's it going?

...

Hi. Hey, guys. You know what?

...

This is the first Fires sign episode I seen with three

...

Who.

...

capable on at once on camera, so I think there was an Napa

...

and you guys are like,

...

I think the first using

...

re

...

Yeah

...

That's awesome. Very cool. We were trying to do four, but he's not here yet.

...

Oh, so interest

...

thing interesting.

...

Yeah. Yeah

...

Well, this

...

we're real excited to get hear. This is our first show or that this is my person

...

...

the by humor

...

...

...

...

Okay.

...

my... One of my cousins as a graphic designer in Cleveland, he used to work for the

...

see, we're used to work for sherman Williams, and he worked for the calves when Lebron was there too.

...

So it's

...

Wow.

...

Yeah.

...

it's beautiful up there, but now if you wanna talk about cold?

...

Yeah.

...

Yeah. Not bad tonight. Oh, that's really cool.

...

Yeah.

...

as I'm Sharon Williams and the that is so cool. Great.

...

Cool. Yeah.

...

Oh,

...

Cool. Well, thank your thanks for jumping in. I now know how to recognize

...

people in the raising their hands. So that's extra cool. And I appreciate that as well.

...

I am. And you can also send them my

...

out to people phone in the crowd. If there's someone you see there that, you know,

...

it's

...

That's what I was thinking. Yeah. I'm I think I mean try that just in general. Anybody else wanna jump on

...

and well hey tell you what. Well, do you have any questions for our guys here? We've got three

...

definitely weird guys. That, again, just the whole idea weird live talking about weird stuff.

...

You got three very different folks here. Any questions you wanna ask or

...

things that out there right. While we got you.

...

Okay. Is this a standard format? Is it two my and a

...

room

...

or

...

Oh, well, our in a. That was just our little name we were playing. Yeah.

...

Okay.

...

Okay. Oh, really fun

...

fireside or well

...

john talk Johnny and his wife, Ava.

...

just going

...

so Johnny a lot of fun, but you might be working. That's

...

talk with Johnny so you guys know

...

and

...

perfect.

...

check this out, Johnny three on camera, and this is fun and see

...

sorry. I missed so I don't know how lot about your guys backgrounds, but the I'm being fired in

...

off center

...

for talking too much.

...

Yeah.

...

Was that true? That was a search.

...

But that's absolutely true. I used to do it for Pacific bill.

...

Mhmm.

...

I would do follow up calls to see how the repairs went.

...

And what's you had? The answer. I just kept on chatting with. I would learn

...

then and their families. I just kinda to win it to an interview.

...

I had no idea whether I'm just setting myself up for that was decades ago, but it prepared me to

...

do what I'm doing now, ironically.

...

That was about to ask

...

okay. So great skills done Well.

...

again, guys, It has fun and

...

...

So thank you.

...

...

Australia, which is absolutely cool. I know so

...

gonna I'm gonna go ahead and put him on in the video mode so he can join us

...

but for everybody who's jumped in since the beginning, my name is Dan, and I am weird

...

I don't see where this bad though, where it just means that you marks the bead of a different drum, and then you don't fit

...

that mold as society wants to shove you into on my show, the power of weird,

...

it's all about finding weird people like me, the weirdest better

...

we talk to these people who see and find out the amazing things that they're doing in their while their lives.

...

with the intent to be able to inspire everybody out there to realize that anyone has been

...

told to be exception. I'm on here today with our first episode of weird live with me. And, of course, my

...

she'll guess great bennett, and then we pull up another one of

...

friends of the show here, Uncle Ted Ham, which is here to apartment with this as well today.

...

We were hoping to have one of our other friends

...

the show who made Jump at any point here. But, you know,

...

time zones and that kind of stuff. He's the farthest list. So he might be doing something else.

...

But we're really excited to be here. Again, we're talking about weird in the world.

...

you know, weird in the world, All the cool things that when you lean into it and you make things happen,

...

you know, how you can be yourself and make that work for you.

...

we got the dream or him on his hand, his barking on his podcast called Pitch the podcast.

...

is all about people pitching this or and being able to find a way to take

...

that the larger maybe know what that me.

...

Oh

...

I'm Tv or movies or, you know, what's here.

...

or, you know, in some cases, children's for send all this kind of stuff.

...

washington

...

Yeah.

...

So thank you for thanks Austin chocolate Magic afternoon.

...

Yeah. I should... I shouldn't... I should... I shouldn't haven't a chat you did because I've got a

...

idea of

...

a book wanting the write for years called the Chocolate Johnny book.

...

about a little kid who under the chocolate shop with his dad and

...

where's a cape, and these a little bit more overweight than all the other superheroes, but

...

you know, he protects himself with eating chocolate and... Oh, I got all, you know. And he does chuck

...

thoughts which everyone loves

...

yeah.

...

that's that's the best thing. So when he fast it smells like chocolate.

...

under self chocolate, I'm not a hard show.

...

But, yeah,

...

I've

...

Well, I'm just

...

I've got a... I have started my podcast, so I started it

...

of only done two episodes by having released because my team says

...

there's no way we're releasing your podcast until you do ten interviews of

...

Yeah. I'm pretty loose. This is our retail store. We've started we started back in nineteen thirty nine.

...

and we still this, you know, we've had six prime ministers. We've had

...

pump cruise, all these famous people come in

...

Yeah.

...

But i need to be their my music our normal everyday customers would just

...

had the most amazing stories and very humble, but

...

cheap that much so. Yeah. That's. So... Yeah. I I'm take that i'm money

...

Oh,

...

see people on fireside it's been a while,

...

Thanks, voice.

...

Greg hurt

...

man, you gotta it you you might have to log off and come back on ones we're out of Australia.

...

the police are coming for you.

...

Yeah. I don't think I have any pressing more

...

in Australia, So we're good

...

Yeah.

...

Pretty cool. John, we appreciate

...

coming on. You can find ted all over the place. You can actually email him it if I remember correctly pitch

...

the podcast at gmail dot com. And

...

That is

...

you again you go and for their program.

...

Yeah.

...

Cheers mate.

...

Yes so

...

You do?

...

I've appreciate it for his much meaning, and let's I'll make sure we follow. I'll follow you guys

...

Yeah. Let's let's connect more and keep this going. So really thank you guys. All the way from

...

in australia.

...

chocolate joy.

...

Thank you much.

...

That was a lot of fun. That was very, very cool. Actually, We'll.

...

i'm trying to figure out how this all works.

...

I am

...

that worked. Okay.

...

But yeah so anybody else that's out there again, this is this is our first

...

through we wanna be able to talk to everybody. The whole point of weird live and the power of weird and

...

is to be able to meet unique interesting cool people

...

And so, literally, you know, you've got a brand designer

...

you an entrepreneur person right here in content creator and myself.

...

And uncle said, you've got a the dream maker, somebody who's a professional and

...

actually taking people and putting them on, you know, the other

...

really making their Dreams come true, and then you have, you know, of course, break

...

who, you know

...

scores indie the horror movies, and there's one word, is this amazing

...

talent musician as well. I was beating a trip lightsaber every

...

single day again, the winner of the

...

What did I call it?

...

the hidden hero wrote yes. But the the winner of the the twenty twenty one

...

we already hidden a board. So, you know, he literally saves lives every day with

...

the word that he knows which she aside prevention. So it got some really cool interesting people

...

just heard from some folks, you know, somebody up cleveland when you shaking this out, they you can globally.

...

And then, of course, Damage on there down doing the chocolate thing and taking out

...

australia. It just goes to show you that weird is the universal concept

...

Right? It's not limited to the peaks of the world and not limited do the

...

the adopt of the world or the metal heads of the world. Right? Mean weird is everywhere.

...

Well, so the interesting thing then that

...

you we all know by now is that

...

everyone's weird to someone

...

True.

...

it

...

Right? People the people that are considered

...

normal to me, they're they're

...

weird to me. Right? Like,

...

you know, that that

...

get excited about the bachelor and

...

you know, stuff like that. I'm like,

...

why why do people do that?

...

but

...

I got you.

...

and you know, really pitch weird

...

Oh, yeah. Got

...

and

...

Oh, yeah.

...

So that we're not in the normal business. That that's got no room in our life.

...

And I got... I gotta talk to you, man, because I've got

...

I've got the greatest show idea.

...

Well hit. Absolutely.

...

is.

...

So

...

Yeah. If...

...

It's good. It's gonna be good.

...

So even even though he had manage to get in on the show yet, on this is actually a

...

I'm gonna go ahead and give out my other weird award for the day.

...

you know, I I will reach out to him and let him know that this later. I'm sure he's gonna watch this later.

...

I'm like you've good friend in mine. He is a a a fellow podcast cancer and also a Fireside content.

...

creator. How I found out about the platform or being ed waters

...

and is the most of the dead America podcast,

...

America dot website, you wanna check out everything that

...

absolute ball.

...

and and so the he is actually the winner, the weirdest award went for

...

the best words of twenty twenty one.

...

so you can see hey here, but we're award again for twenty twenty

...

line for the best greek words. And so he's not here to be able to

...

clean that. So I'm gonna explain it.

...

I do a little bit of a and a pre interview before I talk to focus on my podcast.

...

the idea is that even if I know you really well, it gives me some the work

...

from like, you know, you're a little bit better and know kind of what you've got going on currently.

...

things that we can talk about lot talk about. Both of the guys here know what I'm talking about that they both did it.

...

But so when air came on my show, as the guess, which was a lot of fun,

...

I asked, you know, like, what kind of certification is do you have for professional accomplishments?

...

things you might wanna talk about. And in there, but not any kind of context

...

wrote simply the three words

...

most

...

leadership, train,

...

altogether. Most leadership training

...

Just those three words, he can qualify it at all. It would no this

...

context just mostly leadership training.

...

you guys catching that? We'll leave your training.

...

So so that left me completely flower to trying to figure out what

...

me man and I'm like,

...

holy crap. Okay. So, like i teaching moves,

...

skills. Right? Like i he trying to teach them how

...

be leaders is he has he done training to be a leader of who's

...

you know, like like, as he trains now to be able to teach

...

moves to be weird. You know, I I was going through all these different things in my mind. And he

...

lived up in oriented. So it's not like a stretch to say that he has moves around. Right?

...

if you're talking consistent by three of us, you know, you got Tennessee, guys

...

you know, Phoenix, you, the the Southern overall next

...

like, moves aren't exactly prevalent in our parts, but for morgan,

...

you know, a very well teaching mode

...

like, if somebody were to say that to you that they have most leaders

...

training, and that was there no context. I mean, what would your thoughts?

...

I mean, what what would you think about that? What will you think he meant?

...

they need psychiatric i kill.

...

I

...

there's something seriously wrong. Because

...

Yeah. I mean, as as someone who is terrified of moves,

...

Yeah

...

because of the size of them,

...

Well,

...

I had probably

...

I don't know if I'd be in quiz or if I just get away from that person,

...

Yeah

...

Well, so so again, this was my mind

...

absolutely racing. And, like, I couldn't get through the rest of his.

...

questionnaire, like, I had to like st, go away for a while.

...

meditate on the the free words and come back. But when my brain gets

...

something in my head like that I have to solve the puzzle. Right?

...

it it's like, will a fortune if there's only one letter left, like, you got

...

solve the puzzle. Right? And so I've couldn't figure it out and some sense on the show

...

and I say in the very beginning I'm like, you know, I'm pleased the welcome.

...

host dead America podcast and, you know, and waters, I'm like,

...

Dude, how's it going?? I might have given his last thing longer

...

I've ed. Yeah. And so I say, like, you know, like, this is really good have on

...

so excited. It was fun recording because about on his show also,

...

I'm like but I gotta ask you.

...

these three words together, one in the world you mean the most leadership training,

...

anyone this oh thing about, like, the loose lot. Right? And that he went through the most logs and he did like this later

...

training horse with the most loss. And I'm like, you know,

...

that makes a lot more sense than anything I came up up with

...

but there there was no context. Right? I mean,

...

again, I've

...

I I told him I'm like, you know, boeing and Girl thing. So he is the winner for the twenty

...

only one weird, the best three words, which, again,

...

storing out that that out there, I thought that was a lot fun.

...

You know, and if you you have to listen to this later, man, I really appreciate that.

...

congratulations I'm a weirdly this year.

...

Again, lots of lots of cool stuff

...

So

...

I'm gonna do his show by the way, again.

...

Are you?

...

Awesome.

...

Yeah. Next month, I think for the

...

third

...

and

...

cheese. I think it's about sixteen. They get the sixteenth of January. Yeah.

...

Cool. Well, you... You know, the best part about

...

that too is he... He's you know, he's taught to me about you now.

...

it says, oh, I talked to Uncle Ted.

...

yeah

...

Yeah. We we we text back and forth, and he sent me the portal to log out to

...

so excited do show, so I I think that's for the sixty

...

January

...

Yeah.

...

Very cool, man. That's gonna be great. Yeah. He's

...

Not a

...

that it's part me to start doing the cattle we stuff like that to really schedule things out well.

...

Right.

...

definitely a big opal.

...

of

...

Sure.

...

not exactly, the most organized in personal situations anyway.

...

So so one thing I wanna go into is very brief

...

something you guys know about me that the people out there listen don't

...

when I talking about being weird, Let me give you a little bit more background.

...

I'm thirty eight years old, of course, my name is Dan.

...

I am six to seven inches tall. I have three nephews and three reset

...

which are amazing human beings ranging from eleven

...

to

...

Yeah. Let's see Playing on. Actually, basically cool.

...

I am... Again, six foot seventy

...

saw. And in my adult life, I've wait as little as two hundred and ninety five thousand as much as six hundred and forty thousand

...

I always used to joke that I've you so much with my way that it make go redheads

...

But, you know, fat and proud

...

kinda of fun set. We can only be who you are, and I'm pretty happy with who I am. So we'll just talking about that.

...

But but one thing that that people find interesting about me is I'm an autistic.

...

bunch for. Meaning that, you know, I'm out there. I'm a freelance person. I work for myself I work

...

small business is all kind stuff, but I actually have

...

a diagnosis of autism spectrum this disorder, and the bar that used to be called ash syndrome Ground.

...

Meaning that I see the world for a very different length. And so

...

by coming here and and showcasing facing the weird, I want for people to realize that

...

a diagnosis is like that is never a reason to

...

pat somebody on the head or to treat them any differently or to

...

you know, look at them, like they are less than what a diagnosed

...

is a it's just like training, basically, if it shows you

...

it it's like an attitude test. Really? It shows you what you're good at and what you're not good at.

...

some things that are your strengths some things that aren't your strengths. And, you know, so... And again,

...

you gotta do your best totally into what you're good.

...

And so, you know, people may not know that, but I I wanna put that out there because, you know, when I was

...

kid.

...

you said somebody familiar with autistic, that just meant the sleep

...

verbal kid. Right? That's it

...

anything else unfortunately people still see that was

...

I just wanna throw that out there, everybody. There's something to know some

...

doesn't to realize about, you know, the world that's out there. You don't have

...

to be everybody's definition of perfect because if a, it doesn't exist.

...

if you're striving to meet somebody else's expectations, you are in the wrong life.

...

as that is not gonna help you at all.

...

what is gonna help you is that we... This would be weird like,

...

weird like uncle head, weird like greg, weird life is

...

we were, like, everybody out there that's doing their own thing.

...

their own way, and that you looked at from the distance every day, say, man, I wish I could do that.

...

all you have to do is be yourself and take the first step, and there are lots of ways to be able to make it happen.

...

You ever know? You might be telling your story ted one day.

...

and you may find yourself on Netflix. You may be

...

watching a horror movie and you hear some sort of crazy thing

...

that right his foot on the screen, and it inspires you to go out

...

and, you know, create your masterpiece whatever the case may be, again, you're not gonna get

...

anywhere anywhere in life by being

...

anything by yourself, The more you try to copy somebody else,

...

less important you're gonna be. So Just like I said, wanna throw that out there.

...

when I'm sitting I'm weird, I am the poster boy for weird.

...

time, you know, you need a weird guy. You can need call.

...

but we're excited. So, again, you know, this is weird live with me. I'm here with special guest

...

great pendant, and then, of course, our a weird award winner for

...

best signature look, Uncle ted Hampton is here as well.

...

excited to have both of him. So before we get out of here,

...

we are gonna go one last time and throw it out to audience quest

...

again, we're all weird guys to do weird things and we're all over place. And we're a lot of fun

...

anybody out there that wants to throw hand,

...

and be

...

Well, sorry. For any of our folks

...

here. Let's see, I think we got one now. Let's see.

...

Oh, okay.

...

a bit much echo working on that for next time Lily wrote back to us and says it was a little

...

met or we're working on it's a work in progress. It's gonna be better next time.

...

so little unusual to be going off from a phone is a opposed to where we can control more of you out, but we're working on

...

Let's see.

...

I just wanna know if you guys have caught this, like very angelic

...

saying I have going on with my ceiling like.

...

I see yeah.

...

Yeah.

...

Okay. That's

...

I when I first got on, I noticed it. Yeah.

...

that's not by chance. But I'm trying to give this image to you guys here that

...

I'm very faint.

...

Yeah.

...

here lies by the dashboard light as I was going on. No.

...

giving off the aura

...

Yeah. Sorry. I'm recovering.

...

but my voice is not completely back. I apologize.

...

So very cool. Again, I am so grateful

...

to have friends like you guys and to have people out there that are listening to all the cool things that we're doing.

...

Again, one thing is to remember steer you're weird.

...

your person They can tell your story. Right? So I'm gonna, throw thinking

...

you guys greg and an uncle ted, you know, for

...

first stop, you be able to tell everybody if they're looking to find you for whatever reason how can they find

...

you. And and also, just kind of some sort of closing thing of

...

Yeah You know, what are your next steps? What are you gonna be do

...

what are you gonna be in? And where can people keep an eye out to see your next cool thing to coming up?

...

Okay.

...

I I've got several of the fun things and works as far as movies

...

course.

...

you know, we'll we'll give some more information on that later, but I think

...

the thing I wanna leave everyone with is that

...

you know, if if you're in pain, if you're having thoughts of hurting yourself, depression,

...

suicide. You don't have to find me

...

Right? You can call the national Suicide Lifeline

...

and you were going to find people like me who are there to listen who care

...

and who are there to help you. Someone's always gonna answer that line.

...

you know, So take it from someone who ten years ago,

...

was on the other side of that line.

...

you know, things things can work out and get better. You can find that

...

purpose and happiness in life.

...

So please don't be afraid to reach out.

...

oh

...

So in for folks that are out there wondering that number is one eight hundred

...

two seven three eight two five five.

...

again, that number is one eight hundred

...

two seven three, eight two five five.

...

and more often than not, it it should connect to you somebody actually in your local area which just even better.

...

Yeah. It's routed by area code.

...

Right.

...

So

...

Yep.

...

So one thing I do wanna mention to is Grades group doesn't just handle the

...

they also do follow up with folks couple later. They they have a whole program built

...

around continuing support. So if you think

...

call in touch and you're never gonna hear from them again. A lot of times It's not

...

true people who care and their people out there. So thank you, Greg.

...

for when everybody know that, and, of course, we're being here to you, man,

...

And what about if they do wanna, you know, find your music

...

find that, I know you got where you're out the lymph potentially topic albums available kinda of step where were they

...

So right now, you can

...

head over to Band camp.

...

and you can search for

...

the movie, Tennessee gothic

...

or you can just look toward just gypsy root production

...

and you'll find that

...

you'll find the imbalances score that I did.

...

and anything do I have coming out,

...

will be listed on there as well.

...

Okay. And anything I always say about independent

...

content creators folks Great Definitely falls into that category of

...

you know, the people that are out there creating content are not necessarily getting paid for the

...

they're putting in all the time, especially when you work with, you know, small businesses as a i

...

you or, you know, independent retailers like Ted does or

...

you know, independent film filmmakers like Greg. So please think about, you know,

...

sleep buying like, his album, for example, things like page

...

and other things like that you can find independent content creators like That's as well.

...

But remember that we're putting content out for everybody

...

trying to change the world and that definitely only helped. So

...

when you go and find his album, definitely make sure to been the ten bucks as opposed to trying to, you know,

...

feel it with some sort of we software. So

...

Well, it it... You know, it all just goes to

...

the all goes back in the content.

...

Right.

...

Right? So any money that I've made off the album

...

just goes right back into getting more albums pressed or

...

you know, equipment that I may need things like that. So

...

Yeah. Very cool.

...

And what about social media Grade? Where can I find you? Because I know you do

...

take out videos every day, and then some other cool stuff too.

...

Yeah. You can find me on Tick talk at a greater rock.

...

thirteen forty nine

...

If you have a trouble, if you have trouble

...

remembering that number. Just remember that's when the black plague entered Norway.

...

Nothing enough hear about that number, Greg.

...

nothing that all. Right.

...

Oh yeah.

...

like... What everyone knows that. Right?

...

Woo

...

I common acknowledge alone

...

Yeah. You know what?

...

someone gonna get that on Jeopardy once and they're gonna be, like,

...

thanks Greg bennett.

...

Yeah. That's... Oh man.

...

Yeah. I'm I'm not

...

super good with social media. I will tell you the

...

the plan that I hope to discuss with ted

...

we'll have a much more

...

active social media. I've already got the

...

Yeah.

...

It's gonna be a lot of of fun... Even even if Ted hates it, we're gonna do it anyway. So

...

I I will know.

...

I.

...

Uncle ted loves everybody, man. as long as you can wear a hawaiian shirt at least once

...

lot you'll be okay.

...

have real.

...

You know what? We can do? Okay. So I will say this

...

as the designer behind uncle heads,

...

whole hawaiian. What we will do just for you, Greg is we

...

will make a hawaiian shirt with all dead flowers.

...

Okay.

...

So that can be through

...

Now you're speaking Joyce heart.

...

Mean I mean, I can rock a Hawaiian insured it's

...

Oh,

...

school. You all wear one.

...

Yeah.

...

You'll just have a middle shirt under

...

Right? Like, like, open band. Yeah. I got.

...

Yeah. Yeah I've got it. I've got important someone

...

what

...

I've always got support a band. So definitely.

...

Oh i getting him in. Again,

...

content you're supporting content creators. This what all about me. Really cool.

...

Alright. And i'm ted. Where can folks mind you and where can they see all your cool stuff to

...
