...

Hello, everybody, and good evening.

...

and welcome to another episode of the sustainable funding series

...

in which we explore different ways that creative a

...

technology and educators are building sustainable funding models

...

around their projects. This is our

...

first edition of the series here on Fireside. So I'm I'm.

...

cited to to be sharing. Sharing the series with all of you

...

today on Fireside, and we have

...

in today's episode, I'm joined by Shane, who is

...

aka dad cipher

...

Melissa friend, and an adam wearing

...

And so all of whom have been creating

...

in in very different ways. And so

...

we're gonna learn a little bit about that on this episode as

...

as well as a little bit of a background on on

...

what enough are and for the creative vote there, you know, how they can

...

start sort of exploring space.

...

So on that note,

...

how would each of you sort of

...

describe

...

same.

...

who's gonna start it off

...

Is it gonna be me?

...

Yep. That would be wonderful.

...

Alright.

...

obviously, end of mean a lot of different things to

...

a lot of different people.

...

obviously, a lot of people use

...

or imagine N as art

...

you know, I'm being able to

...

exactly who to give credit to when it comes to sort of be

...

the images. Right?

...

for for myself anyways,

...

we don't do any art.

...

where... Where has she digital real estate?

...

our n is essentially a tower

...

well, two towers, different apartments within that tower and

...

Yeah. We we sell that and

...

people purchase it, and essentially we have a a residence that will

...

end up in the. So

...

So

...

that's what N are to me.

...

Okay. So so so... So

...

So to n are residence to the meta serve

...

or how do you

...

k.

...

Yeah. That that's what our N actually is.

...

Yes. I know that's what yours is, but how would you explain them in general?

...

Oh, yeah. No. Essentially, they are

...

transactions or tokens that are are put on the

...

a ethereal block chain, wanna blockchain,

...

whatever blockchain that actually it was

...

Okay. And and Melissa, how you how would you describe them?

...

I would

...

kind of

...

Same thing that seems that it's it's tokens on the black team.

...

and it's it

...

it's proof of ownership. So I I don't know explain they're

...

me. It might have been seen. I I can't remember who told me this, but

...

a good way to think of ana because it's so abstract is

...

you might go in front of some random house on the street and you take a picture

...

of yourself in front of it.

...

and you're like, I own this house, but you don't actually own this house.

...

when you actually

...

take a picture in front of your own house. You own it and on the black, that's what you're proving.

...

so I I don't know if that made enough sense. But

...

it it's proof of ownership.

...

and it's token

...

so it's showing everyone

...

what you

...

own.

...

And what's interesting about the black is

...

you can see everyone's transactions.

...

So

...

Go ahead.

...

So and you're you you're touching on some interesting ideas here, Like,

...

especially when it comes to ownership because there are n out there.

...

that

...

don't require somebody to own

...

the

...

the the the item.

...

and and it's actually... And it's a point that I wanna get into later on in the podcast.

...

But sort of just

...

just

...

thinking in in in that sense, Adam,

...

Know you've been exploring

...

block chain or sorry. Ed

...

folks with your friends, Andrew

...

levine. And and also, then

...

through some of your experiments that you've been doing both through your own art

...

and

...

on G, how would how would you describe it?

...

Hi, everyone. So I would describe

...

n of is really just a digital signature.

...

So it can be anything that's linked to

...

a block on a blockchain. Yeah.

...

it really can be anything. So I'm excited that N of like, it can be

...

real estate days. It can be wills. It can be

...

an image of video

...

really just anything that you want

...

one copy of or... Yeah. One,

...

authorized what educated copy of.

...

So you conscious just control save control b, everything.

...

that's

...

that's great. And and I'm I'm I'm loving that you guys are all touching on the ownership point.

...

because I think it's one of the areas and we'll get into this further out of the

...

in the podcast, but I think it's one of the areas where it's

...

where

...

I think it's a stumbling block obstacle at the moment.

...

on on sort of approaching

...

like,

...

the full uses within within.

...

I've seen at the beginning of

...

I've seen they're sort of being burg sort of

...

communities out there that are using N enough in different ways. I

...

specifically thinking around film and things like that where

...

you know, people don't take ownership of the film, but they are taking, like,

...

you know, they're renting it. So they can watch it or their they're

...

they're... I guess,

...

you know, they're

...

I guess, in the in that sense, I could be owning a copy of it.

...

and

...

And I think as we sort of start to look at some different spaces,

...

and different out, like,

...

ways of adopting Feed, like, especially around things like

...

education around health care.

...

it'll... It'll be interesting to see what comes out of that because

...

because I think we we

...

there there needs to be sort of a bit of a a movement

...

beyond just just ownership for it to be adopted in

...

some of those spaces.

...

So melissa, you're doing with

...

with your project at the moment to anatomical hearts.

...

you're sort of looking at

...

you're exploring of piece in in the way that

...

a lot of people will think of Event out there, like, from

...

from for those of us who who remember the

...

crypto cities when they when they first

...

sort of blew up on the web in twenty seventeen.

...

you tell a little bit about what your your what you've been creating with and a chemical heart.

...

Yeah. Definitely.

...

what interview know, could brought it up earlier.

...

Can can you see here? There we go.

...

Not yet. Oh, now we can

...

Okay.

...

So I've been

...

creating our part a number of years, and I

...

heard about crypto cities, and I heard it in twenty eighteen. So

...

I wasn't in as cutting.

...

and

...

I kind of probably forgot about it. Didn't do anything with it.

...

didn't realize it was

...

as deep as it was that it could be applied to art and

...

all these other things. And then when I heard about people, this

...

frame selling this art. I was like,

...

I create art.

...

I should get on this platform.

...

And I ended up... I have two project

...

right now, my first project was anatomical hearts.

...

So I drew Anatomical hearts, and I did that

...

because my daughter has was born with a heart defect.

...

and

...

she

...

just as a way to cope. I

...

I needed to do some. So I ended up taking those hearts

...

and creating a collection out of them. And that collection I launched

...

in September.

...

And in about two weeks, I sold out all of my hearts

...

And I've

...

started a spinoff off collection called anatomical project, and I'm doing more than just

...

hearts I'm doing, like, the letter of the kidney,

...

brain and lungs right now.

...

And I am

...

just trying to figure out

...

this new state. So, you know, I'm I'm on Instagram my mom in Facebook.

...

and this is a new way to capture

...

just to interact and connect with people. I've

...

I've met so many new friends this way, and

...

it's it's proof of ownership. I all of my art

...

is one to one so you get that and

...

you can personally... I I've had people contact me and

...

send me email and tell me they're gonna print it up and put it in their office.

...

they're really connecting with the art, and it's people from all over the country that I

...

all of worlds really that

...

you know, I I could connect with on maybe Instagram or Facebook, but here

...

the community is so excited and energetic. I've been able to

...

chat with them, and they see my art. I'm excited about them. They're excited about me it's been

...

really interesting.

...

So so with your art... Because your initially came out then coloring

...

correct.

...

Correct. Yes.

...

So

...

now that you're sort of selling the individual hearts out there,

...

as as N.

...

are used to able to use

...

your your hearts like, say if you came out with with your new

...

sort of anatomical organs that you're creating if if

...

if you had interest in a new sort of coloring book around that, would you still be able to use

...

any of the hearts that you've sold in that new coloring book or

...

or with that limit your your your usage of them?

...

So when you buy an From an artist, you don't

...

get their copyright.

...

I think that's what you're asking.

...

Yes. Yes.

...

get, you you know,

...

Let's say you by any physical piece of art.

...

you you own the art, but you can't

...

reproduce it and say if yours worries or clean it however you wants.

...

So I am able to

...

when I

...

finish my other series. I'm going to make them into coloring books too

...

And

...

a lot of people in my community find value from that because

...

I'm going to talk about my In my future coloring books.

...

brings more people to the community, and then it's

...

interesting that a lot of people are

...

They're doing this art in the Space.

...

but there's a number of projects that are pulling in

...

physical items into the

...

space. So for me,

...

with my abilities, and I know how I'm doing it with coloring books?

...

other people might do it with a video game, which I know it's so

...

you know,

...

on the Internet and things like that, but it's it's trying to

...

bridge.

...

something that's just, you know, anna

...

on the Internet to something physical and kinda connect the two

...

and judge to different people.

...

So so then

...

So see... So you as the artist retains the copyright right.

...

And when you... So when you're selling those different

...

know, your different drawings out there Your different heart out there.

...

it can more than one person buy them

...

for the

...

did for use from the digital space or can they only

...

or or you... Or is that dependent on the artist and how they set decide to

...

I

...

it it's it's dependent on the artist. So I know

...

think there's an artist minds

...

I know there's some clap pieces of his that there are fifty

...

copies of the same piece of art.

...

and all of those people own among all of those people on one copy of it,

...

and I will say there are some

...

out there when you purchase the, you get the copyright right.

...

to

...

do whatever you want with it.

...

So that it it's really dependent on the artist, and you should, you know,

...

if it doesn't explicitly say you're getting the copyright, I would never

...

soon that you're getting the copyright from an Nad.

...

So... Okay. So it's it's it's more like how you

...

sell, like, photography or or, you know, our prints or or things like that

...

And so so with that,

...

as for you as the artist, are how do you set up

...

what those different

...

sort of what the different rules are around your piece of artwork when you go to sell

...

I

...

really answer is I don't know if anyone knows that the

...

point. It's also new. I

...

got into this

...

in September and

...

I know I knew no one that was in this face. No one at all. Like,

...

I couldn't even talk to anyone or bounce ideas off this

...

I I decided after researching all these different avenues of different things,

...

I just decided to make it, you know, one to one art

...

one copy of each, no copyright transfer

...

but

...

Now that I'm in this face I have a whole bunch of new friends, but

...

it it's really dependent on the artist and

...

I don't think there is a right way or a wrong way to do any of that.

...

I've seen, you know,

...

people on all sorts of combos of what I've said and to be really, really successful.

...

it's just a matter of

...

you know your

...

your previous audience, your scope, what what what you wanna do?

...

Yeah. You're heading on to a lot of beauty.

...

There's... I've I've kind of been

...

spending, you know, a lot of time at

...

N in the last couple of days and

...

instead of exploring, you know, the different

...

different ways people been talking about the space and you're hitting on all the things that

...

you know, for myself as a storytellers as an educator,

...

is

...

alleviate the concerns of of of that

...

know, sort of aspect of ownership because

...

I kept sort of hearing things about

...

sort of

...

ownership ownership ownership and status, which

...

which it was hitting me

...

is kind of counter

...

What

...

you know, a lot of what we're looking for with sort of web three with

...

building equity and building essential.

...

and removing gatekeeper

...

simply as

...

you know, if if we're talking ownership and access,

...

especially at the prices that Enough are

...

going for at the moment that

...

you know,

...

limits a lot of people's access

...

and it limits it limits like

...

depending on how it's approached it can limits

...

you know, the spread of culture or education or things like that, which is

...

which is being... I I've been sort of fascinated by this space

...

that those have also being concerned that I flare that plate, you know, as I'm

...

But if it's the artist's choice,

...

and the artist has the option to, you know,

...

still retain their copyright and and use it in other ways.

...

then then, you know, it bring so much to the beauty of

...

of of of

...

of actually making it more I could, like,

...

creating more equity for the artist.

...

it it's

...

Yeah. Definitely. Something I just wanna touch on on the other side of

...

things for an artist. It's

...

I've been doing this for a number of years, and I

...

I do it per time. I would say it home. So I

...

can't say make a living doing this.

...

But

...

getting into this space and we minute in a month and a half, I could see

...

making in a living just doing this, and that's

...

something that I've never seen before.

...

every time you're piece

...

So so I have a hundred piece collection. Right?

...

Yeah.

...

So let's see. You bought it and say you end up selling it to a stranger.

...

every time you sell it to someone, I did a small commission from it.

...

from it, and it the same the artist to create more art.

...

it's like, you know, the artists can

...

take a percentage, but it's it's basically royalties.

...

and you have

...

open is what I use as my

...

my

...

my

...

Mhmm.

...

marketplace place.

...

So marketplace please take it so cut the

...

the artist gets a royalty and

...

there's no middle man. There's no gallery that takes a

...

so as it... I guess, what you're seniors years it can sustain an artist, which is

...

something that

...

I think it's pretty cool.

...

Yeah.

...

It is.

...

And for me, I I placed my i

...

I'm wanna.

...

a pretty small artist, let's sue say that, and I praise all of my art at

...

wait zero five of period. I hope it's okay that I bring this up. It's like

...

No. Absolutely.

...

hundred and fifty dollars, which

...

I know sounds like a lot, but in this space,

...

is a really, really, really

...

like,

...

really low entry points for someone collecting.

...

and I really wanted to reach people and that was my goal.

...

and I know

...

people had tell it for more, and that's their choice and

...

different things like that, but it's

...

there's artists out there that are always

...

up and coming in and I know you talking about

...

I think you're same will reason, like, equity and just

...

sometimes people go charge a lot, and you're trying to make sure everyone can get into the face, and I

...

yeah. It wasn't so much more about people getting into space. It was more about

...

my

...

concern

...

with

...

my concern with with it with with ownership

...

was, especially when you've got some

...

you know, some celebrities that are paying ridiculous amounts of money.

...

it was more concerned for one of the things that the web done is

...

it's

...

it's opened up though

...

the world to being able to access things like culture, things like edge

...

vacation. And my my one fear

...

you know, as I was sort of approaching all this, and I was excited as I was a

...

approaching because I... I'm constantly looking for

...

solutions for

...

for building equity for for creative.

...

but my one fear was that

...

if everybody took ownership of different things,

...

and there was higher and higher prices associated.

...

that that would leave out a good chunk of the world and would create

...

senses around everything.

...

But if if as you say, if it's

...

like, you know, the artist is selling a print and that person then has the rate

...

to use that prints that

...

that doesn't create a offense that, you know,

...

For sure. I

...

And I think you have to... We're we're so early that

...

Just

...

so many new artists out there too. So there's always gonna be people

...

just under the face wanting to get their art out there.

...

and I I I think it's

...

I understand your concerns because I had your research

...

everything you talked about, like, am I giving up my rights to my, you know,

...

Mhmm.

...

things. And I I spent a long time just trying to understand and

...

it

...

it's scary because not... There's not a lot where people love it. But

...

from everything I've this. It it feels like a

...

a really

...

it can be

...

in equal, but or not equal, but I... It's much more levels than

...

other platform I've been.

...

Oh, let's

...

Yeah.

...

in my experience.

...

No. That's exciting.

...

and and shame, you're kind of approaching per this

...

from a

...

from where you're you're looking at

...

digital real estate. So so so real

...

state in terms of. And I'm I'm guessing this is sort of

...

So for years, I'm I'm somebody a build story world.

...

And I referred to to those story

...

And and what I'm creating out there is being in the digits sphere,

...

And and I I know that in the Enough space so using

...

the the the term meta, which I suspect is

...

is is is it's similar to what I'm talking about.

...

But with if you're... Just sort put this kind of into

...

terms that everybody might understand. With digital real estate, your

...

your sort of

...

it's it's almost like, you know, the way kids are building Minecraft

...

world and adults are building Minecraft worlds or

...

or, like, the worlds that were built back in the day in second life.

...

is is that is that correct?

...

That's actually a pretty fair assessment.

...

obviously, digital real estate that is definitely... It's been around

...

there's a really big

...

really big meta out there, like, central and and sandbox

...

and network, there's more and more that are actually popping up every single day.

...

where we differ

...

is that we're gonna be building

...

sort of towers within a.

...

So what we're trying to do is build

...

you know, a community of people that will

...

obviously

...

meta live with one another, so to speak, but

...

that they'll all be sort of housed within sort of the disc

...

chord. Our our discord group, and we collapsed with

...

quite a few large projects, and we actually have a lot more on the slate to think

...

last time I checked available forty requests to get into the tower.

...

But, yeah, we'll we'll kind of we'll become sort of like the the little

...

I don't know. Maybe, like Mecca, probably the correct term, you main hub

...

for, you know, and holders

...

to sort of

...

share idea, share utility ideas when it comes to

...

sort of the future of event and they'd be quote unquote meta living and

...

ethereum powers.

...

And so so in that space,

...

Yeah.

...

do people go in themselves? Do they go in as kind of?

...

No. That they

...

a avatar if they're choosing

...

No. They they definitely go in as themselves.

...

So right now, we're a free

...

sort of project, which means it doesn't cost you anything except for

...

gas. So we're in extreme high demand.

...

we we've made tower one just white only at this point.

...

and we actually had to restrict the number of clubs because, obviously, we

...

we have a lot of people in our discord server that, you know, would likely not end up

...

with an apartment. If we just did one hundred percent collapse.

...

But yeah. And we have quite the group

...

individuals, everything from

...

some of the bigger ones like crypto deaths, boss duties,

...

You name it?

...

no

...

And now will this... Will this... Like... I I understand right now, it's in

...

in your discord space, eventually, will

...

like, will there be, like, you know, a sort of

...

color.

...

Yeah.

...

of virtual space that's people can find

...

block around and, you know, sit in their apartment

...

Yeah.

...

for the evening and have guests over to a another party.

...

Yeah.

...

Absolutely. Like, that's a whole idea behind it. Right?

...

So right now, it it is just kind of existing in the discord and it's because

...

you know, there's restrictions to specific meta universes and

...

No.

...

call us space of estate that's not cheap to to build into a

...

so being freedom to mint right now, it it's not exactly like we're

...

we're rolling around in cash, so to speak and

...

unfortunately, they don't take hugs and cases to get into the

...

I mean, if they did, I would happily do it. But, you know, it it's gonna cost us

...

Yeah.

...

you know, quite a bit. So power one, we're we're just trying to build

...

I really

...

solid community behind us, You know, that'll that'll be around for one

...

hour two goes up and power two will actually

...

paid mint, and that's a that's a different story, but

...

and

...

at that point, that'll... That'll start sort of our fund.

...

And so with this, like, so presumably, you know, it can create

...

could've of

...

That's exactly what we're doing.

...

creative hubs for

...

Exactly.

...

people from all over the world to collaborate on projects.

...

Yes. There you have it. That's that's a whole

...

point behind sort of our project. So it originally started as

...

you know, sort of like a a allure style and for all those that aren't aware,

...

a allure style

...

Is just essentially just like,

...

a bunch of words

...

on a piece of paper slash on, like, a on a screen.

...

and they go for crazy amounts of money, and and it's almost like

...

sort like that Dvd and style.

...

but that quickly evolved. So we we have, like, an architect

...

that join sort of the the group and he like, hey. You know, Do you want me to put together some

...

you know potential drawings of what ethereum times could look like. And then

...

next thing, you know, you know, somebody that was well versed in the photographers.

...

you know, kinda like hopped on. I was like, hey, you know what you guys are being interested?

...

And then slowly, but surely,

...

different individuals started to join up,

...

we had a whole bunch of different labs that wanted to, you know, sort of get in on the project itself and

...

kinda take a life on own. Like, I joined I joined the project

...

September the fifteen

...

and

...

before that, I was actually working with Melissa.

...

on anatomical hearts getting here all set up with this gordon

...

stuff like that. But

...

it's gone completely crazy over the past.

...

essentially a month, I guess, today. Right? It's today the fourteenth. I

...

at this point, I'm not even kidding you. You just lose track the time.

...

every single day just blends into another.

...

Cool. Cool. Yeah. It's it's been interesting. Like, you know, I I think

...

kind of keeping an ear on on enough for a while, but I I didn't

...

really properly sort of start to

...

dive in until this week.

...

like, you know, where I started digging deeper,

...

and

...

That's what I keep hearing. I keep hearing how it's just

...

changing at infinite speeds, like,

...

and, like, how a week seems like it's like,

...

Oh,

...

you know, a couple of months in terms of of

...

of a

...

You run off of Caffeine

...

and just adrenaline pretty much all day long when it comes to to N,

...

if people think that, you know, I'm gonna start building an And, you know,

...

gonna be a nice cozy job.

...

you got another thing coming for you. My extremely can also that

...

for that.

...

you're working and granted, you love and know what you're doing?

...

but you you're working

...

pretty long hours and

...

you're trying to make connections with as many different people as humanly possible.

...

but it it's worth it.

...

is worth

...

So so as we get to, like,

...

So

...

obviously, you're you're gonna be selling some of these apartments.

...

in in your tower so that you're able to virtually build it. If that correct?

...

Yeah. So tower two will probably mint some time

...

next month, like, sometimes probably late November,

...

right now, we're we're kinda doing sort of like a a soft launch or, you know, pre

...

launch whatever you wanna really

...

call it, where we're ironing out some of the bugs

...

kind of building sort of that hype around living in ethereum towers.

...

we're also then, you know, building, like, a token in the back end. So

...

getting into Where

...

right now, put together like, a smart contract.

...

and, you know, the space itself is evolving so fast that we also need get, like, lawyers involved.

...

Yeah.

...

just to make sure everything's above board. So we have, like, a lawyer, the hell

...

you know, that we thought out.

...

to make sure that, you know, Fcc is not gonna come after there us

...

you know, make sure that open is not gonna be

...

know, breathing down their neck. So we have him on board.

...

in terms of, like, our our token piece

...

because of the the way that we have it set up right now, you know,

...

we have sort of like a resident reward structure.

...

set up in place, and we wanted to make sure that also passed sort of the

...

the test of, like, the open sea and

...

The They rewards sort program

...

there there's a lot of moving parts to say the least

...

and, you know, making sure that your smart contract is all set up. So we have

...

a lot of professionals in the background helping us

...

make sure that

...

things go smoothly.

...

And

...

So thinking long term on this, do you have any plans so that

...

you keep

...

kind of

...

so that you're

...

so that you're able to bring different people into those creative spaces at different times to

...

to share to interact to engage

...

Oh, there's so much that we wanna do. So much that we wanna do.

...

you know,

...

crazy. So our community and

...

anybody that's kinda like joined in, like, we have an idea room.

...

and that idea room gets, you know, everybody

...

puts and, you know, sort of their ideas, what they would like to see. So

...

you know, obviously, it started off with sort of different amenity rooms. So

...

let's say you're interested in working out, there's, like, the gym

...

and we have, like, an amenities leader in there and you've actually, like, a personal trainer and

...

like a nutritionist

...

and he provides, like, daily advice, and then we have

...

you know, the garden where, you know, we have, like, a resident green thumb in there.

...

But as sort of the project evolves, we're gonna do stuff like,

...

you know, right now, we're actually talking with somebody to do, like, a a weekly newsletter, and then people will be able

...

right, Like,

...

open pieces for it. We're gonna have potentially, like, a Youtube page

...

and have it almost like the, you know, ethereum empowers Tv and, you know, we'll do, like,

...

cooking shows, and we'll do

...

workout shows and kinda whatever do like

...

resident interviews, stuff like that. Just keep everybody sort of engaged.

...

and then, you know, obviously, down the line, they'll be

...

opportunities for, you know, potentially showing displaying your art

...

and sort of like a gallery.

...

that obviously,

...

you know, right now, our our main goal is

...

to to get everything up and writing in terms of power one and then, you know,

...

hour two launch and then from there, you know, look

...

at other ways of

...

keeping the our our community involved, or does that be through

...

you know

...

furniture

...

through ethereum resorts. Another thing that, you know, we have on a roadmap map

...

ar and Vr integration. It's exciting times to say the least

...

And and so and does it work in a similar way to like,

...

with, say, royalties, the way it would with

...

the artwork where if people sell their space later on, like,

...

you know, their their apartments

...

you

...

Yeah. So at that point, we get a specific percent

...

as well.

...

Yep.

...

that way, goes into sort of like a community wallet

...

you know, we

...

we have specific fun set aside for charities, we have specific

...

fun set aside for sort of the token piece

...

the fund

...

Now all all of that gets placed into sort of wallet and then kinda of like divi

...

to then.

...

kinda go from there.

...

And

...

with that, Like, so so

...

just... Sorry. This is just me.

...

in the creative type and also thinking in terms of

...

of equity at moment. If you guys thought of like a

...

an artist in residents or things like that. So that say,

...

you can bring people in from different parts of the world that

...

maybe or different sort of soc economic groups.

...

at times,

...

you know?

...

right now, I'm actually working a deal with

...

like a collab with a brand new artist that's from Singapore.

...

and there a brand new Project. They're actually called the Pan

...

Mhmm.

...

they have really cool artwork when we

...

when we initially started throwing out ideas for collaborations,

...

Her name is crypto Jim. She reached out to me if we scheduled up the call.

...

and, you know, obviously,

...

you know, the at that point, they're just starting off. They had less than, I think, like,

...

a hundred Twitter followers and less than, like, seventy five

...

discord members. And I said, you know, what? We all have to start somewhere.

...

And we're we've taking them on board and

...

once they officially mint their project,

...

we'll be doing some sort of collab with them, but

...

Cool

...

Okay. So

...

but you haven't sort of sort of touched on that that well, you're you're dealing with all the immediate

...

Yeah. The believe me you should

...

now. That's all long.

...

you should see my discord. It's quite literally like,

...

seventy Vms deep

...

Well, I have to say, like, I was, like,

...

kind of bold over by how quickly you melissa respond discourse.

...

Oh,

...

my my life lives on facebook right now.

...

I'm I'm kinda of one of the

...

the the the gals that was the early

...

like, with one of the pioneers years in the in the

...

social media spaces, and

...

one of the things I've taught myself that I have to do, you know, over the years

...

is

...

is not have anything picking at me or

...

or

...

or feel eddie to respond just because

...

otherwise, I mean, like, oh,

...

and I was speaking with how quickly you were responded I've like,

...

Oh, he is busy in this space.

...

Oh, I am

...

i'm crazy right now.

...

Yeah.

...

like I said, like, three weeks. Wow. How long have been?

...

has been just like a month.

...

close to that.

...

yeah. Things happen.

...

Well, it's crazy looking at how that's both of you have done.

...

in such a sharp period of time. That's what kept

...

blowing me away too office.

...

Yeah. It's it it's

...

pretty crazy, Like, I'm talking to people

...

that quite literally, you know, a month ago, I I would have dreamed of having a chance

...

you know, talk with

...

it's it's pretty it's pretty amazing and what can happen in a very short period

...

time in The Space.

...

I

...

may just say something

...

personal a little bit. So I launched

...

the

...

September first, let's say. And I think I met shane

...

a few days letter, He was my first, friend. So

...

he... You know, he he helped me. He helped me get my discord in it.

...

And I was like, I totally my has I have this stranger you're asking me if I want help, and I was

...

this is crazy. This is

...

exciting people wanna be in this community. I've never

...

experienced that, and I've had other people just reach out to me in, like,

...

different ways. And it

...

you know, he he did that, and now he was talking

...

oh

...

he... Then he started his

...

hours project, and it's them

...

a complete world when Whirlwind, It's been amazing

...

Just wanted to say that.

...

Yeah.

...

what you know, and I think I think that right now is

...

true for this whole virgin creators of

...

economy that is is really trying to

...

rework.

...

reworked the web and the digital sphere right or or the id said

...

to

...

to get on the new lingo at the moment i this

...

how Adam who's who's his

...

who's the third judgment or the third the third person up europe they're

...

up here with us.

...

that's how he and I met, and and it's the same thing we

...

both being part of the the web monetization standard community.

...

and that's been

...

very much the same in that community where

...

you know,

...

people

...

are

...

all wanting to help each other and boost each other up so that

...

so that we can kind of

...

you know, turn turn the space into into something that

...

is is viable long term.

...

and it's exciting. And and it's wonderful because you're you're getting

...

needing getting to know all sorts of different people. Like, I I

...

feel like Adam's is a good buddy of mine now and, you know, we you've never

...

which I'm assuming probably is the case with melissa you and shame, you have an

...

actually ever met in real life.

...

No. No. We we've

...

chat.

...

like, Melissa Ryan and myself chat.

...

what every other night

...

It feels like

...

I guess it's a little bit

...

guess a little bit busy for you right now too, But

...

that we... You chat a lot.

...

Yeah. I sc to Melissa I read her story, and I was like, yeah. And

...

although do whatever's needed to to help.

...

because her story needs to be told and needs to be seen so

...

Yeah.

...

Yeah. I have to say listen. It is pretty awesome. And it

...

it's

...

it's really wonderful to see something that has

...

heart in so many different ways.

...

you know, finding

...

finding findings, you know, such

...

a positive way of sort of

...

sharing and growing and

...

building community out there. It's it's it's

...

really lovely to see it it's it immediately... I I discovered

...

your your content to through the link on Shades Twitter.

...

and it immediately put a smile on my face. I'm like, oh, I like this.

...

Thank you very much shot.

...

that

...

just

...

The nicest thing I can hear from anyone i

...

it's

...

then

...

incredible the journey I've been through And

...

can you know with people I have it's been

...

it's a nice way to take some, you know, pain that I've had in

...

maybe help other people with pain or journeys or whatever they have to get through

...

so it's finished.

...

Yeah. No. That's very cool. I'm I'm

...

my my creative partner and I are sort of tackling up

...

sort of

...

approaching into a project

...

like that at in a very different way than than new. But

...

it it really sinks my heart when I see other people do it and do it in such a such a

...

positive that a pla kind of way.

...

Thank you.

...

So, Adam,

...

Yes.

...

Okay. That was just making sure you're still there.

...

it's... So you've been kind of doing

...

you've been dabbing in a few different areas in the

...

space. Like, I know you've been playing and creating some of your own art tote there.

...

but you've also been

...

like,

...

and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what you were doing on G

...

with with the Tipping to access certain post

...

could technically be term genetic

...

Oh.

...

That's an interesting... To I this I'm gonna

...

fairly call it and enough take. But

...

we are actually working on

...

functionality so that people can create content

...

whether that's like a post or a lesson or something like that.

...

and then mint an And basically sell or auction that

...

to provide

...

exclusive

...

unlocking full content. So that will be an

...

But I actually wanted to clear up one of your concerns from earlier.

...

Yep.

...

so you were a little little worried, but And might

...

become inaccessible for a lot of people. And, obviously, not many of us

...

can can purchase a sixty nine million dollar

...

people and, but there are lots of

...

and if he's around,

...

that

...

you can buy, you know, cards for

...

a sixth of a cent or a tenth of a percent. There's

...

And I

...

you know, I think, and of today's can really put up

...

a lot to

...

I should

...

lots of people around the world.

...

I I should... I should... I should clarify that that I'm not

...

so concerned that

...

more my concern is is about creating barriers

...

to culture an agitation on the web.

...

Right.

...

And so some more my concern is

...

is if that becomes the norm for everything out there,

...

that that we then have walls around debbie

...

thing And

...

that creates a tiered system.

...

Yeah. And I think that's fair enough. I don't

...

think that's the way things are gonna go.

...

if anything, you know, at the moment, you might have to

...

travel to a particular country in order to see or collect a piece of art.

...

because you're physically going to pick it up. And I think that n of

...

peaceful open

...

up a lot more, lots of cultural items for

...

for anyone to collect or view

...

or interact with around the world. So I kind of... I kinda say it as

...

opening up things a lot more. And, really, like, if you think

...

the world is a little bit... It's hard to get assets in terms of

...

There's lots of barriers that

...

to entry to get assets, like, real estate or stocks or

...

phones or any of that sort of stuff. I think that

...

and, one, you know, it becomes

...

a collectible thing that anyone can really

...

get access too, But also, things can be broken up

...

So

...

in the real world in apartment for an apartment block,

...

or anything can be divided up and token so that

...

many people can earn one thing or, you know,

...

a fiftieth of an apartment or whatever. Or

...

a sporting team or anything like that. So I think

...

I think if anything n of should make

...

assets and us and also sorts to things

...

a lot more accessible. But, I guess we'll we'll have to see how these things go.

...

One project that I've really enjoyed watching is a game called

...

splinter lens. And so that is a game on

...

the high blockchain chain

...

and that people are are basically purchasing these cards.

...

from anywhere around the world, and then they kind of, like, the game is that you five each other

...

with these cards that you've collected, so you're fighting people with

...

your cards that you own. And a lot of these are

...

super super shape, and some of them are really, really expensive in

...

say this different rare and demand and all that sort stuff.

...

And so, yeah, it's amazing

...

to watch people

...

purchase things that they then play with as

...

you know, I think that's kind of where games will go in the future.

...

you know, again, like, fortnight was free to play

...

but then people spent money on outfits and stuff like that.

...

and those those things aren't really transferable outside of the game where entities

...

So, yeah, I think empathy have very much

...

scope and so much possibility that it's a little overwhelming.

...

And, again, I do still think that there is a

...

Yeah.

...

space for this just beyond that idea of ownership.

...

Because I I I think as we start to, like,

...

Yeah.

...

it's... I mean, and and I

...

I think this is one of the big things right now, Like,

...

you know, for

...

my buddy, Steve

...

he and I were chatting last night because he was

...

back, you know, involved in the days of of the early launch of crypto

...

cities and and was kind of playing in that space back then before a lot of people

...

full kind of

...

realized what it was all about. But

...

Yeah. I I still got some cookies.

...

he he was he was talking about, like,

...

you know, how a couple of the stumbling blocks in the space is one

...

you know, having having a use for

...

for those those those pieces of artwork. But

...

And and this Side, kept tearing over and over go again to it at a

...

As I've been listening the last couple of days.

...

is

...

is that we need to start thinking beyond just

...

the the ownership of the arts. We need to start, you know,

...

playing and experimenting with with

...

Yeah.

...

with what does an Enough look like in education.

...

I know myself as an educator, and I know that we've got

...

Michelle is an educator on our call right now. And by

...

all means Michelle, if you wanna come up and you wanna add in your two cents or your thoughts,

...

on this feel free. The same goes for everybody else on our call.

...

I know tat she is an artist, and

...

possibly has done some experimenting if I don't know if anybody else here on the call has done an experiment,

...

in the spaces, But if you do want to come up,

...

you are invited.

...

So just to add to that

...

Yeah.

...

point that you are making Erica.

...

Mhmm.

...

so there's a project on the Blockchain.

...

that is basically you create your will

...

as an, and you put that to the blockchain,

...

So that isn't anything to do with art. But because the blockchain is

...

forever.

...

it's it means that, you know,

...

a file is basically stored on a blockchain.

...

and, you know, something like your will is really important, but can also be somewhat missed

...

this misplaced or you have to, you know, contact specific lawyers and all that sort of stuff. So

...

there's lots of projects that aren't unrelated to us, but are related to n.

...

Yes. Yes. I... But I just think that we can think beyond

...

just... Like, for example, I've seen a film that is being released where

...

it was released as P.

...

and

...

people could, you know, purchase tickets for for acts

...

fast, but it it wasn't sort of an ownership thing. Does that make sense?

...

No. Oh, absolutely. So if there's a project called Stone cats.

...

And basically, the N is the ticket

...

itself to watch

...

the program that they're making called St cats. And so the company that's doing that

...

when you earn

...

your st, which is your ticket. You'll also get

...

future content that they also provide. So it basically becomes

...

your ticket to their content, which means that the producers of that

...

animation don't have to go through the normal Hollywood

...

funding of, you know, finding a financial that could basically just

...

open it to the public

...

and the public will crowd source, the production of

...

of their content, which is amazing. And super cool, and that's

...

kind of thing that we're looking to build into into Japan.

...

Cool.

...

And that's mu con. Right?

...

Yes. Correct.

...

actually kind of the kind of the

...

spear head behind the stone caps.

...

Yeah.

...

Yeah. It's a super cool project. And it really just opens up

...

a lot of financing for a lot of creative.

...

and they they couldn't get funding because

...

because it's a soon account. So, you know, had that kind of drug element.

...

And so no one would fund them. They just know what one of the piece of that

...

then when they launched the amount of, again, they sold out overnight.

...

because there was

...

a big demand for it.

...

Yeah. Totally.

...

because it's funny. Let

...

Everybody pictures the cat on cabernet.

...

Right. Exactly.

...

top over. Yeah.

...

No. And that that's exciting. That's no.

...

So

...

if somebody wanted to get started with starting to build an,

...

where do they begin? Like, how do you melissa

...

or or shane or adam

...

how do you turn that piece of

...

artwork or that piece of real estate into then. How do you put it on blockchain tape?

...

so I mean, I think Melissa Chang could probably add a lot more to this.

...

but essentially, you find a website like open say or terrible or mint

...

and that'll help you through the process of mint

...

your art to the theory blockchain,

...

the theorem plot is super expensive in terms of gas phase.

...

So there's other sites like in a room,

...

where there are no fees. So it can be quite accessible

...

people to mint the artwork.

...

that's what they wanna do.

...

So so Melissa, can you walk us through that process for you?

...

So

...

I I use and

...

Yeah.

...

I use open c and

...

I picked that for once you do, I think, a mint

...

once or twice, you don't have some mint again with a with a fee

...

the mint can get kinda expensive.

...

And the actual process of mint in Ms

...

and open is really easy.

...

it's everything that before that is kinda confusing. So let means let me start there.

...

you meant you just upload your image to the website.

...

And you set a few parameters and we you hit

...

you know, mint and that's it. The

...

but to get to that point, it it takes a

...

so

...

you get

...

so you have to go to an exchange

...

like a

...

Mhmm.

...

I'm assuming you want me to come into of those. So to need can make

...

So I use queen base as my

...

change and you have to bring in money. I put in, like, three hundred dollars

...

from chief

...

two big exchange.

...

it took, like,

...

seventies days to clear

...

and I got my money in a, and then I

...

took that ethereum money and I sent it to a wallets.

...

then I took that wallet and I connected it to open c.

...

and then I was able to create my

...

I don't know if I explained that to the... Well,

...

so let me know if you want me to repeat any of that, but there's

...

it's kind technical to get to the point of mindy.

...

but the actual mid of an on

...

a marketplace place is quite easy.

...

when you're in there.

...

right

...

So

...

and shame, you've you've done... You've done it with something different than

...

piece of art.

...

So is that different when you're when you say doing it with real estate

...

I know you're on open as well.

...

So I

...

so everybody in... I I myself actually don't do any of the mint. So that that actually comes

...

Okay.

...

Mhmm.

...

from the original person. His name is Jason. He's so part of the project

...

I'm just like one of the partners in on it. So

...

right now, we're just missing on right now. However,

...

because tower two is gonna be paid to mint and the way that we wanna structure

...

we actually have to use, like, a smart contract. So we actually have a developer

...

as building our smart contract that it requires a little more technical skill.

...

because when you are mint,

...

you know, off of sort of off contract.

...

there there's bunch

...

technical stuff that takes place in the background. You you just don't want people to be able to hack in and

...

essentially we meant a whole bunch of them and a really low

...

gas

...

Gastric.

...

but I always encourage people watch a lot of Youtube videos. There's

...

one guy by the name of hash.

...

he does amazing amazing Youtube videos. Like, not stress this enough.

...

it quite literally, we'll teach you how to create your very own

...

generative art, like, Ai generative

...

make it one off one piece

...

you can learn in, like, two and a half hours.

...

it's pretty crazy. So if if you guys do have, you know, sort of like a

...

a drawing in mind and maybe you wanna, you know, manipulate it and

...

you know,

...

three thousand different ways. He actually walks you through the steps

...

all using free tools too.

...

to help with that creation and then how to actually post fun.

...

potency.

...

And and, presumably, you know, that would

...

be possible with somebody's film or their web series

...

or their video

...

or say,

...

with authors with a with a book.

...

or

...

or a

...

or or even like, you know, if we're we're talking educators with

...

with their lesson plans or educational videos.

...

that would all be possible through something like hope and see too. Yes.

...

I I don't know if you'd wanna use open.

...

Okay.

...

just consider on the ethereum network.

...

Yeah.

...

I guess you could always use Polygon on there. Which one gas these or

...

very, very small, but if you are using the ethereum network, like,

...

be prepared to tear

...

pretty hefty unless you're gonna do it out, like,

...

I think cheapest I've ever seen it was, like,

...

Saturday at, like, three Am in the morning when I was finishing up the.

...

and gas is not

...

not very cheap. I we

...

three

...

Okay.

...

Okay. Now

...

adam, you're you're aware of what the ripple doing right now with with

...

trying to launch

...

with launching into to, like, the the Ledger

...

where they wanna start getting involved in Enough as well.

...

Yeah.

...

So what

...

So, presumably, there would be a different sort of markets play in place

...

for, like, maintain maintaining your projects for for space

...

like that where in Is is more affordable for

...

for a lot of people if we're talking, things like educational things or or

...

it's

...

Yeah. So I think... So

...

I think really, what they're intending to do is use platforms like mint

...

where you can actually in the top left hand right hand corner,

...

you can select what what you want to use.

...

So, you know, you might have a set to theory, but then you can just change it to Pay.

...

and then you'd use the same platform minimal

...

but you just use it on the Block. And so P has

...

almost no phase, like they're really, really tiny. I think they're, like,

...

like, a zero years there's zero point where there they're there one, two. I it, like that's

...

fade like, it's it's just nothing compared to

...

ethereum gas phase. And then you mentioned earlier my friend, Andrew

...

who is

...

the Ceo of the coin network, and they're building a smart

...

track blockchain that will have no fees. So once

...

someone builds or once they build an And type showroom on

...

that blockchain, then people will be able to meet things with

...

No fee. So that should be a lot more

...

accessible to a lot more people that the guest prices can be

...

pretty scary at times.

...

So

...

they really can be. That's

...

So how do you... How do you make that decision then, like,

...

when you're

...

trying to decide, like, okay, You've got something that you want to

...

yet men out there so that you can start to

...

to

...

you know, sell copies of

...

your book or sell copies of, you know,

...

of different lesson materials or I I'm still trying to wrap my head around

...

I've been doing a lot in the open education space just

...

with with building building kind of equity and

...

and things like that around the world. So I'm still trying to wrap around how I could sweetness this and open ed.

...

which I haven't quite wrapped my head ads yet, but, hopefully, it'll hit be at some point.

...

Yeah. I mean,

...

and of can be anything

...

really anything

...

Yeah.

...

Right.

...

the problem with Open is open is open access.

...

Right? So so people aren't paying. I don't have

...

problem with people paying because we all need to pay our bills.

...

And

...

Right.

...

far too much to my life working for free or her very little

...

That's

...

but

...

So

...

So how does one make the decision on where

...

where, like,

...

where and how they're going to get mint and what marketplace they're going.

...

sharing there up.

...

Yeah. So I think

...

The most important thing is to work out where your

...

community is or your customers or the people that

...

are demanding the thing that you would want to meant.

...

So if a lot of those people are really comfortable with the ethereal blockchain,

...

then that's, you know, then you might use open or terrible or one of those

...

platforms that use a ethereum if

...

a lot of your people on the high blockchain, then you would use Showroom room,

...

So really, it comes down to the community that you have and wear that

...

they're the most comfortable. And if your community is not comfortable with, any of those

...

things, then

...

you might have to educate them on on how to access your.

...

So on that note, like, where is the X community at the moment?

...

So Pay is building

...

Into their system into the blockchain. So it's not

...

something that think is available just yet. So I don't

...

believe they have a platform, but they've actually funded a bunch of projects

...

Yep.

...

to build platforms. So hopefully, we see something coming in the next

...

six months.

...

Cool.

...

And so

...

So with all of this right now,

...

where

...

I okay. So

...

So one thing I'm just curious on to is listen chain, you're both

...

really big on building communities around your you're

...

tease right now on

...

When I'm having a mind blank on the platform right now, discord.

...

is is that... Is that specifically tied to

...

like, the open community being in that space.

...

or is that more of a general

...

space where people who are excited about,

...

are are used to gathering at moment.

...

from my experience, it's the

...

art community and that I'm in

...

is in open and then Twitter, and then this

...

chord, and those all all three of those are open.

...

one time during the day for me,

...

Twitter is good to meet people, but if you wanna hear about the

...

So like Shane project to actually hear about

...

him and the the

...

other people that are actually developing it, you go to their discord to see what's

...

happening behind the scenes. And they

...

it's a really, really good test to see if that project

...

has good people behind it, and it it's gonna best succeed. So

...

Twitter is a good place to meet and kinda have that answer learn

...

new projects, but discord in my opinion, in my experience has been the place where you

...

to

...

deep dive into

...

should I invest in this project or not?

...

Yeah.

...

Yeah. Describe is just the tool. So discourse is like Twitter or

...

Slack or Facebook or anything like that. It's really just a tool that any community can

...

can come to because setting up a server is free,

...

Yeah. Yeah. Gonna mention that exact.

...

pizza it is essentially like a a two

...

and to help obviously sell yourself some the project.

...

and

...

kinda let the community kinda do their thing.

...

obviously, our number one focus is actually a community

...

because you're you're gonna have be meta living with these people.

...

So, you know, getting the the lay of the land, figuring out exactly where you want

...

you

...

kind of involve yourself by in terms of the different amenities.

...

is is a huge part of of what we're doing.

...

Yeah. I would say, ninety nine percent of our people are are all on open.

...

know, the the the ones that are

...

scouring looking for different projects.

...

I obviously also have Twitter open.

...

quite often throughout the day. But my main

...

my main thing right now is living off the discord.

...

And and that was purposely because that was where

...

the the Community was already hanging out is that correction.

...

Yeah.

...

The n community is is in discord and telegram.

...

that's kind of there to mean some

...

Twitter,

...

I guess, three things I should say.

...

Yeah. Like,

...

that

...

the best way to to

...

to describe discord, maybe is almost like, remember, like the old school like chat rooms

...

that used to pop into.

...

get the same sort of, like feel

...

except now you're... You you become really good friends with these people the the con

...

in sort of your chat.

...

the entire time.

...

you need

...

people from all over the place, Obviously, I've become friends with

...

a lot of people from Australia because it's their early

...

morning, they're Popping and saying hi everyone before they add over for the day.

...

you know, lot of you from Singapore,

...

one of the partners on this project is actually from the Uk.

...

so

...

it's quite literally people

...

around the world that I I get a touch chat with on

...

and then everyday basis, is pretty wild.

...

Very cool. Now.

...

with all this,

...

one of the big barriers

...

that sort of existed when my my friend, Steve was

...

exploring space back in twenty seventeen. It's

...

still here as far as, like,

...

the uses for some of these art,

...

where do you see the the opportunities for for those in the future? If

...

you say,

...

if you say own, you know, a piece of

...

n of or

...

one of these avatar,

...

I I guess I'm

...

I I wanna hear a little bit more.

...

sort of the reason why he feels that way, like

...

Yeah. I mean.

...

Yeah. Little more deep dive question.

...

So so so it it's not just Steve that said this. I I heard this

...

mentioned, you know, sort of

...

repeatedly in in a number of different spaces. But

...

but it's that idea that

...

right now,

...

you... And and granted, like, you know, I've got our

...

that I'm looking at on the wall in my house, and, you know, that's what I bought it for was

...

to put on the wall in my house. But

...

back in the day and and Steve actually sent me his

...

one of his his descriptions for

...

for for a

...

products that they they'd created. But the the I

...

idea was that

...

there would actually be uses for for

...

this sort of some of the art, some of the avatar that were getting created

...

So Adam mentioned it earlier with

...

a film or with the the

...

What was it? Stone, stone cats?

...

Stone. Yeah.

...

Yeah. Yeah. With

...

like that cat would would give them

...

access. Like, if you have a stone attack that you

...

then have access to to their future projects. Is that just gonna be for the what

...

one movie, Adam or will that be for all their future products?

...

projects.

...

No. I think it was for everything that studio was gonna create.

...

Under the name Stone.

...

No. Not necessarily.

...

Oh, okay. So

...

whatever the studio was

...

create whatever their future projects where I believe

...

the stone cap was gonna give access to all

...

that future content as well.

...

Wow. That's huge.

...

Yeah. So like, what they'll probably end up doing is so have, like,

...

another project, and no probably end up air dropping a bunch of those

...

to existing stone cats, and that way, they can actually build up even more

...

revenue by selling additional

...

For that potential new.

...

project as well.

...

keeping their their

...

you know, cough offers. I think that's the word I'm looking for.

...

you know, kind of full so that they can continue to sleep produce new

...

new contact content

...

Yep.

...

Yeah. I could see if there's something like that working quite well with something to, like,

...

say exploding kids.

...

as as it well, it is it's goes like it's

...

like, the whole idea too of

...

Well, so so back with

...

with with with some of the ideas that I saw rolling around

...

you know, back in that twenty seventeen space, it was also ideas

...

that you could use those different objects in different spaces, like, so

...

potentially the idea of

...

of taking

...

those objects

...

into different virtual worlds with you.

...

where they would unlock different things within games or

...

within a movie or or things

...

things like that.

...

i I just... I'm I'm not in the Art space with with enough.

...

So so for those of you that are have been watching that, have you, like,

...

been hearing

...

thoughts and cling about what people are thinking of doing

...

doing

...

as far as having additional uses

...

...to some of that art.

...

tell you this. Once once they're able to integrate Into video games,

...

by as many of those N as you possibly can.

...

because if you think of a

...

I mean... That's sorry.

...

happening chain. So does...

...

Yeah.

...

the tons of projects. So there's one called Z

...

that basically, it's it's similar to Minecraft.

...

literally every material that you

...

make or that you mine or whatever is an individual.

...

And then if you wanna, like,

...

make a table, you would be combining ten of teased

...

to make a new nfc, which is that table or sword or whatever.

...

And, yeah, splinter has millions of n

...

taste that people are using and combining to

...

level up their cards. So, yeah, there's a lot in the video against space already.

...

Yeah. And I think and a world just came out

...

I think that they meant to the last week and it's actually got, like, direct ties to Minecraft.

...

when you you own, like specific Minecraft worlds

...

I remember correctly because I think there's Minecraft teams actually hopping on board now too

...

But I got, I'm thinking more like

...

Cs go.

...

Fortnight where, you know, you own that one of one

...

look at what Cs go, you know, butterfly nice go for

...

you know, and and they're

...

five thousand of them, that they go for twenty thousand dollars pop.

...

So

...

Wow.

...

Yeah.

...

Yeah. But the demand is there.

...

the hand is there.

...

and that'll eventually trickle into

...

you know, the end states and when you own a one and one,

...

Yeah. You're gonna see the money from gaming

...

start to

...

filter over into the world.

...

so I'm just gonna put this out there to the audience. If there's anybody who's like

...

come up and

...

either

...

share, you know, some sort of experience that you've had with

...

or who would like to ask a question to

...

are our wonderful painless

...

today that would... You you invited to do so just

...

click on the round circle at the side, and you should see

...

Actually, you know what you can do is just click on the plus sign at the top here right because

...

speakers, and and I'll get a little notification and and then

...

so to pop you up on the stage.

...

why we're just seeing if anybody would like to ask any questions or to join us,

...

is there

...

what advice would you give to somebody

...

who's nude entering sort of the the the space of n

...

tease.

...

careful what you pay in guest presence.

...

number one thing, I always tell everybody Do you do diligence?

...

look at everything that you possibly can on the project before your

...

you're you're investing anything into N.

...

top that as well.

...

you know, at the end of the day, do not

...

do not invest more and than you're willing to lose.

...

we've all been there where we've invested empty projects that have not taken off

...

way that you thought. So

...

just

...

Yeah.

...

and I would add if you were wanting to get into

...

World.

...

don't just read articles. Go

...

go to open c, go to discord go to Twitter.

...

get involved in the community, even if you don't buy anything right away, just

...

see what people are talking about, especially in the art community,

...

Community, things like that. You you learn so much more than reading,

...

an article.

...

on

...

you know, that that

...

that's how I started, but it it you... I've learned so much in not

...

forty five waves that I've been in this space.

...

And and on that note, I believe the other half of

...

who's been in that space with you has joined this on the stage.

...

Is is that your ryan that's there?

...

that is my riot.

...

Ryan, if you hit on the

...

the unmute yourself at the bottom of the page right next to the react button.

...

I wasn't sure you're gonna make the connection there.

...

I looked white why way earlier, I looked to

...

see who everybody was in the audience and I I saw I saw your last name. So

...

So unless there was a second ride that had wandered into the conversation

...

Thanks for. Thanks for letting me

...

just say a couple words you're

...

talking about, like, real world use there at the end, and I was thinking about how

...

many projects are bringing

...

real world utility to a lot of their Feed

...

especially in that whole

...

can you use the term avatar, but that profile picture

...

type space and there a number of projects that are bringing

...

like, in real life utility to that. So

...

those tokens, if you will, those avatar those Ps

...

are your access point to real world things? And so one of the

...

big ones in the space.

...

that recently went to, like, Christy auction that I believe,

...

They're buying a club in Miami.

...

and your excess code to the club house is your

...

is your N. There's others that are doing big meetup ups

...

in different cities across the world.

...

they're somewhere the rewarding original holders

...

of their other And dropping collaborative pieces

...

for free to their to their holders. There's some that are

...

dropping like real world art,

...

that you can take and have. So it's a it's a pretty neat

...

tons of whether it's a access to a network or it's

...

a private club or whatever, which

...

you know, speaking to your equity piece earlier, it does become a bit of an

...

exclusive thing in some of these, but some are really about

...

how do they collaborate with other up and coming artists?

...

to and giving voices to other and upcoming artists.

...

in dropping collaborative pieces.

...

to their holders, and it opens up this whole new network that that

...

up and coming artists never maybe wouldn't have... Maybe they couldn't have

...

been in there. There was one I was on the other day.

...

it's called an Am and asking me anything in the had artist

...

that they were doing a collaborate collaborative

...

projects with

...

from around the world. Some of them

...

could barely speak English. I mean, it was it was really incredible people from

...

everywhere that would never

...

almost, like likely never have that kind of access to a global audience.

...

so it's it's really, really, really incredible what's happening in the

...

space. I I just wanted to comment On that.

...

Yeah. That's what I've been finding has been really exciting with the web monetization space.

...

too is yes those

...

And and I think

...

I think even to, you know, it's one of the the good things that

...

come out of Covid is is that were now

...

hating and engaging much more on a global level.

...

And so so you're getting these foster, like,

...

fostering sort of

...

these these collaborations and youth engagement

...

with

...

flip people from all over the world. Fireside has done that for me.

...

I've I've been regularly part partake in in my

...

my friend Rave show from

...

from Poland. So, you know, a bunch of us

...

I'll get together each week from

...

you know, all across Europe.

...

which is which which has been which has been time.

...

So Ryan,

...

why we've got... You do we still have Ryan? Oh wanna we last Friend?

...

I'm

...

Oh, there he is.

...

come back.

...

excellent. I was just gonna to post that that that question to you.

...

what advice would you give somebody?

...

you know, knew that centering the space.

...

So

...

I think there's a lot of people out there that and we kinda talk

...

in our house a lot, how we're in a bit of the dial up,

...

phase of. This is dial up over telephone wire

...

connection. It's the beginning of the beginning.

...

And so I think a lot of people though,

...

that we've talked about personally end up to use

...

to they had... It's like, we're on a different planet. But if you have

...

any kind of inkling towards this space towards this kind of next

...

evolution in art in collectibles in

...

community

...

do not pass go, you know, do not collect a hundred dollars get into it.

...

figure out a way you join these communities. Everybody's so helpful here.

...

in these spaces, it's it's really incredible. So

...

if you're on the fence, I mean, jump in both feet

...

and and and don't hesitate. That would be

...

what I'd say.

...

Cool. Cool. Yeah. I have to say I... As I've been kind of

...

peaking and poking and exploring in different places. I've I've

...

I've kind of been kicking myself for not having sort of the

...

stove in sooner. It's it's exciting. It's exciting what's happening now.

...

And

...

I think literally everyone feels that way, Erica,

...

Oh, yeah you're you're amongst

...

they should've have got sooner there.

...

everyone that says that, like, why didn't Pick up a board Eight when they were, you know,

...

point zero seven. And, you know, why didn't I get in b friends when, you know,

...

it was

...

point one

...

Well,

...

you it it's one of those things that we

...

you feel like it you've missed out. But honestly, I it's just

...

Well, this is this is this is what I was just about to say too, And I think

...

especially like, I'm I'm in indifferent like,

...

I think, especially

...

in these other areas to that

...

know that haven't really sort of

...

fully started building in the space, like, you know,

...

It's really early days, I think, for filmmakers,

...

for people building a immersive world so the in those spaces for

...

for... Mean, it's it's early days for artists too, but

...

but I also think it's like, you know,

...

for for educators, I I did some poking around, and I I haven't seen a ton

...

out there yet, you know,

...

and

...

you know, for for for educators and stuff like that in the space. And so

...

I I think

...

I'm just kind of excited to see what's what

...

sort of emerges, and I'm excited to try and figure out what's

...

what sorts of things I might experiment with and

...

and play with of the space. And now that I know thanks to Melissa,

...

that I'm not giving away on my coffee right by Sharing

...

stuff in there. I I think I might start experimenting with some of the things that

...

that I've

...

already created.

...

And then

...

You should definitely

...

and then, you know, play with

...

you know, building some new things. So we you say Melissa?

...

just was gonna say you should definitely get into this space. I mean, I I don't know

...

Mhmm.

...

I'm only in the art space, and I

...

to integrate other, you know, like, film I different things like that, but it's

...

you're just gonna try and just see where they happens.

...

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's kind of, like... I I'm I'm originally a scientist.

...

and so so I love... I love the whole idea of experimenting and and

...

really early days of the web for me, we're all about throwing the metal on the wall in sequence.

...

So

...

Thank you all for for spending the

...

time manifest this evening.

...

Thank you, Adam and Ryan and Melissa and

...

shame, and thank you to all of you who have been hanging out with a

...

in the audience, it's it's been really wonderful to

...

to have

...

all of you here night and and be sharing all of your

...

your ideas and your your experiences,

...

and

...

and

...

What what promises to be really kind of an

...

exciting in evolving

...

and dynamic space out there.

...

Thanks, Erica.

...

Thank you.

...

Yeah. Happy today.

...

chat.

...

Well, I'm going to close the show, and I'll

...

you guys an invite if you wish to come to the green.

...

But thank you, everybody, and have a great night out there.
